Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Romans 12:1

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.
—Romans 12:1

@Searching thank you so much for the sweet prayers! @Sarah D. Thank you for the sweet prayers as well! Praying your second date goes well for you both. I am leaving Mexico today and it’s funny because I haven’t wanted to leave but today I woke up not feeling great which makes me rather be in my own home. Praying you all have a good weekend

Good Morning ️and HAPPY Saturday! it means so much to me how God works on a daily basis I needed this WORD this morning. I was humbled by a nonbeliever yesterday. Nothing really bad, but I don’t like to mess up. I’m grateful for HIS mercies are new every morning and I hope that’s what people see.

When I’m in my car driving I always listen to a specific Christian radio station; last night on my way home from work the lady broadcaster said something that really stuck with me. She said “It’s okay to have emotions and to show them, God gave them to us, but when we’re done with them throw them away.” I was just AWED, and AMAZED by that. I had never thought about that.
Be blessed and when your done with your emotions “throw them away” sisters.

Thankful the Lord’s mercies are new every morning! Praying my life reflects an attitude of a sacrifice of self.

    Romans 6:12
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, so that you obeyI its desires. 13 And do not offer any parts* of it to sinan as weapons for unrighteousness. But as those who are alive from the dead, offer yourselves to God,ao and all the parts of yourselves to God as weapons for righteousness. 14 For sin will not rule over you, because you are not under the law but under grace.

We have freedom with Jesus, Hallelujah! Yes, we will still be tempted, but with the Holy Spirit and the name of Jesus, the devil will flee! Once again, I wish I had been in the word in my younger years. But God- He loved me enough to stay by me, and wait, until I released my stubbornness, my will, and submitted to him. He is refining me, growing me, rubbing off the rough edges. He does this for everyone that loves him. But don’t be stagnant, don’t be lukewarm. There is JOY everyday when you live for him and treat your body as a temple is part of that! It glorifies him, and in turn we reap the rewards!

Have a wonderful Wkd She’s! I SO look forward to Sundays to praise and worship. I will be thanking him for how he is using me in such unfathomable ways! I would have never thought! But to him be the glory!
