Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Romans 12:1

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.
—Romans 12:1

Kelly (NEO)— thank you for checking in! Tori is doing really well! Made it through chemo without significant hiccups, has mainly recovered from her double mastectomy and is awaiting reconstructive surgery. Her babies are doing great. I would ask you all to keep her husband Ben in your prayers. He has carried a lot on his shoulders and is exhausted.

Praying for Angel who is dying of Cushings Disease, which is so rare that her doctors don’t understand it very well. She has been a victim of domestic violence her whole life, and this combined with the inadequacies of our healthcare system have made it so much worse. My heart is breaking for her.
Praying also for you as your heart is breaking for her.
I understand being the victim of domestic violence and that alone is horrific to deal with let alone the physical problems.
This is a very sad situation BUT GOD ! He knows Angel and He knows you and He will be there with both of you as you go through this transition from life on earth to HEAVEN ! There is no better place to be

  12. Mary Antonetti says:

    I will pray for her.

I posted my comment on the wrong date (yesterday) …so I am trying to repost part of it here.
@MARGARET W: praying for Angel and her situation. Praying for you as you are the light to her in a time like this.
@KERRY ROWLEY: for your brother in law’s family and everyone connected with them in this difficult time. I am so sorry. My condolences.
@Kimberly Z: safe flight back for you as you left Mexico. Praise God for refreshment.
@ALL SHE’s: for God’s grace and power to touch and transform you and your families wherever you are, whatever you might face, may your lives be the testimonies of God’s deliverance, mercy and undeniable power. For we know His Name, He will set us on high, for we love Him, He will deliver us/our families (Psalm 91:14).
    @Searching: ❤️❤️❤️

Be blessed dear sisters. Hugs and blessings to you all my beautiful she’s!

@Kerry Rowley praying for your husbands brother in law and their family. This hits so close to home as we are approaching the one year mark of my dads attempt with suicide. Praying for you guys and that you all can heal. I am sorry for you all.

@Searching thank you so much for the sweet prayers! @Sarah D. Thank you for the sweet prayers as well! Praying your second date goes well for you both. I am leaving Mexico today and it’s funny because I haven’t wanted to leave but today I woke up not feeling great which makes me rather be in my own home. Praying you all have a good weekend

  17. Kerry Rowley says:

Dear SHE’s. We are in need of immediate prayer. My husband’s brother in law killed himself last night. Please be in prayer for our family.

  18. Mari V says:

Good Morning ️and HAPPY Saturday! it means so much to me how God works on a daily basis I needed this WORD this morning. I was humbled by a nonbeliever yesterday. Nothing really bad, but I don’t like to mess up. I’m grateful for HIS mercies are new every morning and I hope that’s what people see.

  20. Dorothy says:

When I’m in my car driving I always listen to a specific Christian radio station; last night on my way home from work the lady broadcaster said something that really stuck with me. She said “It’s okay to have emotions and to show them, God gave them to us, but when we’re done with them throw them away.” I was just AWED, and AMAZED by that. I had never thought about that.
Be blessed and when your done with your emotions “throw them away” sisters.

  22. Kelly (NEO) says:

Thankful the Lord’s mercies are new every morning! Praying my life reflects an attitude of a sacrifice of self.

PAM C – Praying that your mom’s cancer diagnosis includes a clear path toward healing.

KRISTIN – any update on Ross’s biopsy?

ASH H – any update on Tori?

VICTORIA E – continuing to pray for you

JENNIFER LOVES JESUS and CHURCHMOUSE – praying you are ok

  23. Rhonda J. says:

    Romans 6:12
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, so that you obeyI its desires. 13 And do not offer any parts* of it to sinan as weapons for unrighteousness. But as those who are alive from the dead, offer yourselves to God,ao and all the parts of yourselves to God as weapons for righteousness. 14 For sin will not rule over you, because you are not under the law but under grace.

We have freedom with Jesus, Hallelujah! Yes, we will still be tempted, but with the Holy Spirit and the name of Jesus, the devil will flee! Once again, I wish I had been in the word in my younger years. But God- He loved me enough to stay by me, and wait, until I released my stubbornness, my will, and submitted to him. He is refining me, growing me, rubbing off the rough edges. He does this for everyone that loves him. But don’t be stagnant, don’t be lukewarm. There is JOY everyday when you live for him and treat your body as a temple is part of that! It glorifies him, and in turn we reap the rewards!

Have a wonderful Wkd She’s! I SO look forward to Sundays to praise and worship. I will be thanking him for how he is using me in such unfathomable ways! I would have never thought! But to him be the glory!

  24. Traci Gendron says:

When I think of my body as God’s temple, I treat it better. I see so many christians today that overindulge. Drunkenness is probably the biggest. I want to treat my body knowing that it is a gift from God. To do everything for the glory of God. To remember just what a gift it is.

    Thank you –
CAROL RIMMER – for the Scriptures this morning
SHARON JERSEY GIRL – for pointing out Solomon’s wisdom in asking for wisdom
CEE GEE – for sharing the notes yesterday

TRACI GENDRON – such a good comment yesterday. Entitlement vs humility – may we focus on the Lord and not ourselves. Thank you.

LISA CHAPEK – your comment touched a tender place and I sat here this morning with tears streaming. There have been so many requests, especially in this study, for those we love dearly that don’t know Jesus and it is heartbreaking. Let’s keep praying for them (and their friends and loved ones as you were led to pray and tell us) and living so that they see Jesus and want to know Him too.

    MARIAN BAER – Amen.

KIMBERLY Z – praying for safe travels, sunshine and a lifted spirit
SHARON JONES – praying for changes coming with your work leadership

    BRIELLE HEBERT – praying

MERCY – thank you and I love you too, sister! ❤️

MARTHA HIX – so good to see you ❤️

  31. Carol Rimmer says:

1 Corinthians 10:31 CSB – “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.”

Let’s glorify God in our bodies, no matter what we’re doing – from the moment we wake up, to the moment we sleep. Everything we do in our bodies, let it be done as our worship to God.

    1 Corinthians 6:19-20, CSB –
“Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body.”
