Text: 2 Corinthians 4:16-17
Grace days are for catching up, being still, and praying Scripture back to God. Use the passage below to pray for yourself or someone else.
Therefore we do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day. For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory.
-2 Corinthians 4:16-17
“momentary light affliction” man. If that isn’t a slap in the face by Jesus Christ, I don’t know what is. Our troubles of this world that we get so worked up over are so trivial in comparison to Gods glory. He out weighs any tribulation we may come across. And with God on our side, we can conquer any of those minor afflictions because He has already conquered it all. Thankful for a God who is so mighty, and grateful for a devotional that shows me how small I am in comparison to such a great God,
Amen!

Recognizing how much our time here on earth is temporary – but a moment… I long for the eternal and pray for inward renewal day by day
This is encouraging I am a single parent with two kids and I lost my job a week ago. I’m glad I am being prepared for something bigger…
Praying you land a great job that more than meets your financial needs. Adding you to my prayer book also.
Praying for you!
Incomparable….eternal. Breathing that in today. This world is hard and even figuring out what you believe is hard sometimes. This…lets me breathe.
Breathing right there with you
What I was trying to say is that this is just what I needed this morning. Yesterday day I was told that I have breast cancer. This is such encouraging scripture
May you find peace in God’s strength to walk you thru this valley.
Wow, that is tough, Jean – sorry! May you draw closer to the Lord as he holds you up during this time, feeling His love and glory.
Wow, praying for you Jean- praying that God would heal you completely and give you strength, peace, and hope though this journey.
Prayers for comfort, hope, healing, skilled doctors, sensitive aides and a strong supportive base of family and friends.
Praying God will give you the strength that you need.
Praying for you! May you feel His wings wrapped around you and comforting you
Saying a prayer for you right now, Jean. My mom beat breast cancer ; I believe you can, and will, too.
Was told that I have breast cancer.
Jean.so sorry to hear. Prayers to you. This is not easy to walk through. I know so many women who have. Praying for healing and peace as you walk through this and knowing God is in control.
Praying it is treatable and can be eradicated, Jean. ((hugs)) to you this morning.
Adding you to my prayer book, Jean. So sorry for this report – praying you have family, friends and good church folks to support you. May you have a profound testimony of God’s faithfulness as you walk through this.
