Heavenly Father,
❤️
It’s so great that we are God’s. ❤️
Im so grateful to belong to His flock! Have a wonderful weekend!
I don’t have much of a church community at this time. Thank God for His word that encourages me.
This last week has been exhausting, invigorating, stimulating, refreshing and just plain wonderful. I met so many new friends, young and old, learned so much and enjoyed myself, even though every night after VBS and work, I went home exhausted and was able to do nothing but take my meds and get my clothes and other things ready for the next day. So I won’t be able to be with them tomorrow during the service, I would have to drive too far, I will be joining them for the fun in the evening. So I now sheep in two flocks — churches — and I feel the love so greatly.
Sisters, be blessed and know you are loved.
“You are my flock, the human flock of my pasture, and I am your God. This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.” —Ezekiel 34:31
The flock of God. The one part of many. Together we can accomplish much. Yet there is such power in the faith of one. Our hope is rooted in a covenant promise between God and one man, Abraham. His single act of faith was the source of God’s fatherly blessing for “all nations” (Genesis 12:3). We exist between and within a vast and mysterious creation. From the microscope to the telescope, we can focus in on mind-blowing details. “How great is our God?! Sing with me!” This is the root of my joy. This is why Jesus taught us to pray by first acknowledging and hallowing our Father. Where He is leads us to who He is. His love for us, His flock, is grounded in an unbreakable covenant. He said so. He gave us His Word. History proves His sovereignty again and again and again. He has taken hold of us by His right hand of salvation (Isaiah 41:10). “You must not fear; for I am with you; you must not be afraid, for I am your God.” He is our strength and helper no matter where we are or what we face. He wants us to see Him, know Him, “and take heart and understand together” (Isaiah 41:20). Selah. Maranatha. Amen.
I love knowing that I’m a part of God’s flock, and he is my GOD! THANK YOU JESUS! ❤️ Hallelujah!
Thank you Lord for being our Good Shepherd who walks alongside with us faithfully. ❤️ Have a blessed weekend dear sisters.
Doesn’t get much clearer than that! It’s like He’s giving us a definition of Immanuel = God with us ❤️
A couple of days ago, while trying to study for a test, I couldn’t help to listen in on an online zoom class my son taking a Bible class. online from BIOLA.
Thank you Lord for letting me be apart of your flock. May I always listen to Your voice and not waiver. Praying to be a light to attract all peoples to the gospel. Praying for the requests of others.
Lifting everyone here in prayer and praying for many of your specific prayer requests. Praying for a breakthrough for Mari. ❤️
@Ellen!!! for real? I was hoping one of the Shes was close enough to know in person! find me on Facebook – let’s be friends IRL :)
Thanks for the prayers everyone <3
❤️ I am so thankful! Blessings to you all sweet SRT sisters.
There is so much comfort for me in this verse! We are HIS flock, and He is OUR God! He will never leave us nor forsake us! Even when we feel alone, broken, hopeless, He is right there, waiting for us to call out His name! I am so thankful to be a part of His flock, and I am thankful every day for His grace and mercy! Have a wonderful day, ladies! If you have a chance, look up the song, ‘The Blessing’ by Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes! I pray that song over each and every one of you! ❤️
Yes, yes, and yes!! Thank You, God! ❤️❤️
My heart breaks today after reading a post on social media from my daughter in law who basically puts down our founding fathers and Jesus! She thinks she is so progressive but is so lost. Please lift her up. Thanks and enjoy your weekend!
@michelle patire prayers for you and your grandma. I too, live in the poconos. What a glorious day! Glad you were able to go out and enjoy it. Peace!
Such a glorious declaration of who I am in Christ.
KATHY – I went to that work camp the summer of 1988! It was a huge jump out of my comfort zone to be thrown into a group of people I didn’t know. It was truly my first taste of how the Body of Christ can come together to serve others. Praying for you and the young people going. May it be transforming for them all. May those whose homes are being repaired feel God’s love.
MARI – you are loved❣
Have a blessed day Shes
It is one thing for me to say I belong to God’s flock. It is another thing, a far weightier thing, when God says I belong to His flock. It’s one thing for me to say I am God’s. It is another thing, a far weightier thing, when God says I am His. What security I have! I am in the flock of the very best Shepherd, the great Shepherd. I’m going to rest in this fact all weekend.
❤️
Amen
Thank you all for praying and studying in this community. Praise God we have each other to encourage live and learning!
TINA – thank you for reminding us how precious we are to God and how caring he is.
“MARI” – continuing to surround you with prayer.
KATHY – praying for your team
MICHELLE PATIRE – your love for your grandma touches my heart. Praying for you and your family in this painful time.
What a declaration!
Still true today!
I am thinking of a shepherd and what He would do for his sheep.
He leads them to water.
He guides them over the hills and through the meadows.
He watches over them, night and day.
He is attentive towards them.
He takes care of them.
He risks his life to save.
He protects them, with his life, if necessary.
He knows each one.
He WILL leave the 99 to save the one!
He feeds them.
He takes off the layers that might cause distress, stress (shearing).
He walks alongside his flock.
I am so encouraged by this verse today.. certainly has me Remembering, as I recall and realign my heart, mind and soul on how, who and when God is to me!
BUT GOD…
AMEN.
Praying you all a God blessed, God protected, God provided, God present weekend.. wrapped in love and hugs from across the pond..❤
