@ JENNIFER CUMMINGS. The silhouette murals are explained in our SRT Books that come when you subscribe. Each silhouette presented intentionally represent something that we studying. The following is the explanation from the SRT book.“The abstract shapes and blurred images remind us of how this world- and often we ourselves- distort the truth of who God is and who we are in Christ. The intentional use of light in the photos calls us to let the light of Christ and the power of His Word pierce the darkness around us.” “For the color palette, we utilized a gradient element throughout. The gray-black becomes lighter as the days progress, demonstrating God’s power over darkness when we are clothed in His truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation and Word. The sharp contrast of the neon green reminds us of the power of God’s Word over and against the powers of the enemy.”

I am reminded of the song On Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground us sinking sand! My post yesterday didn’t make it thru but I wanted to thank Sarah D for recommending the Battle Ready Harris Creek podcast and appreciated so much Traci Gendron and Heidi’s inspiring posts. Praying for you all. Praying that our unbelieving family members and friends will find the light of Jesus.

  12. Searching says:

Thank you TRACI GENDRON, HEIDI and others for your testimonies – we can never have enough reminders of the power of prayer and the sneakiness of evil.

    Welcome to WANT TO BE!

@Jennifer Cummings. I wondered as well if they were for a mural. I am a quilter and shapes & designs catch my eye. Have a creative day.

“Trust ye in the Lord for ever; for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength;”—the Rock of Ages—(Isa. 26:4.) Never take your foot from the rock of ages. Stay grounded to Him, connected like training wheels that never come off. This is not a war I want to fight in alone. I train with Him to fight alongside Him. He is within me, giving strength and peace. A balance between knowing peace and experiencing peace is wisdom. Some are chasing the experience of peace rather than making peace. I am certain we are called to be peacemakers, only chasing the true Maker of peace. The cross came before the reign just as war comes before peace. I am learning that study is good, and knowledge of God’s ways vital, yet if I am burned with sinful ways or thoughts outside of God‘s will, the blood of Jesus must be first. Always. This is where my soul should rest. Not on knowledge, but on the blood. Cleanse first, washing and purifying, removing the plank from my eye so that I can see clearly. I am a princess warrior for Christ, caring for my God-given armor, putting it on each day, ready, until… Maranatha.

This is absolutely a side note, but is anyone curious about the pictures in this study? They seem to be stencils and I am so interested in what the finished product might look like!

Dang, Traci G — I just read your comment from yesterday. What encouragement. Thank you. and Heidi– yours as well.
This week, I was going to visit a sister friend in need, but I couldn’t for COVID reasons. So I called every sister in Christ I knew who knew her to pray for her, because she deeply needed encouragement. She is in bed for weeks without movement because of a severe vaginal tear during her new baby’s delivery. She is in much pain and unable to hold her baby because he is too heavy for her at this state. So devastating, so I felt helpless I could not go and visit to comfort her. She doesn’t have anyone around her except her husband and nurse. No church community in her new place of residence. So I decided to rally up a group in prayer.

She calls me a few days later to tell me that God has showed up and her depression and hopelessness, suddenly removed. I was so thankful to hear, until my other friend told me that when I had asked for prayer, the Holy Spirit told her that He would bring our friend His presence.

I felt sad and thought, “Were these prayers even necessary if God was gonna bless her anyway ?” And was kicking myself for maybe thinking I could play God and do His work for Him. I was confused.

Heidi, as I read your comment about praying for your niece, I realized maybe God’s presence was a response to all the prayer. Maybe I did have a role in it. and when I read your post, Traci, I thought wow, I think Satan is trying to get me upset with myself so I stop praying for people.

    Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!

Trust in Him always. He will always be there.

  24. Gayle Radavich says:

One more amazing prayer resource is 5-word prayers by Lisa Whittle. There are 40 prayers to choose from- I choose what I feel like I need each day and then I use that short prayer to fight the enemy all day as he tries to defeat me!!! It has really worked well for me!

  25. Lisa Holland says:

    Love this verse.!
