Day 41

Grace Day

from the Ezekiel: Come to Life (Lent 2022) reading plan

Isaiah 54:8

BY She Reads Truth

Lent is a season where we reflect on the depth of our sin and embrace the hope and strength found only in the cross of Christ. We seek unhurried moments of quiet to read Scripture, pray, confess, and repent. Take some time today to catch up on your reading, make space for prayer, and rest in God’s presence.

“I will have compassion on you
with everlasting love,”
says the LORD your Redeemer.
—Isaiah 54:8

This verse is a beautiful verse and says soooo much in soooo few words. God is so great. Christ is my Savior. The Holy Spirit is within me. PRAISE THE LORD ALL DAY LONG. I can’t believe we are starting Holy Week.
Father, I praise You for all that You have done for me and given me. For a loving family, loving friends and a job I enjoy doing. Thank You for sending Your One and ONLY SON to die for my sins, I have lost a son and it is painful. It is with JOY, REJOICING and LOVE that I am GLADLY filled with the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Be blessed and rejoice our Savior has risen, sisters.

Thank you Lord for your compassion and love. Where would I be without these? Praise God that none of us is too far gone. He will pursue us and rescue us to bring to Himself. HALLELUJAH. Have a great weekend my dear wonderful ladies.

Happy Grace Day y’all. Welcome Inses. I wanted to take a moment and thank all y’all for making Ezekiel bearable, understandable, relevant and helping me through it with your comments, love and this amazing community. Thank you SRT for this study. I’m praying for the requests as I see them. Have a blessed weekend everybody.

Welcome Inses! It was the birth of my daughter that stirred in me the desire to draw closer to God, as the weight of the blessed duty of discipling her took hold of me. That was four years ago! I pray your worship bears much fruit, in you and in your son.

This is my first time commenting, but I have done a few studies in the past, and appreciate the comments sometimes as much as the devotion itself!

    Hi Everyone!
I was trying to find a sermon on YouTube that I was watching the other night and I found one that was written by Charles Spurgeon called: Removal of a Stoney Heart based on Ezekiel. I thought I’d share in case anyone wanted to listen. Here is a link:

    Prayers for you all!

Thank you Heavenly Father for having compassion on your people although we constantly turn away as a people over and over again! How do we not see your mighty strength? You reveal your wrath over and over in your Word, yet we still think we are better in our own strength and create our own idols to fill our time. We don’t take time to read your Word, go to worship, to help the needy and sick, to share our testimony!! We don’t stand up to things we see are wrong in politics thinking it doesn’t matter. But Lord God, everything in our world is important to YOU. We are important to You. And I will tremble in YOUR presence because YOU are worthy. You sent your SON, Jesus Christ for US. So your people that know you will have eternal life! I mean, how amazing is that to ponder! We get to have another chance, in a beautiful paradise with no tears, pain, hurts, or hate. It is what your creation was supposed to be!

This is a difficult concept to comprehend, in this fabled world, where we strive so hard just to be happy. But only in Jesus will JOY come! And peace. And Jesus said, He was leaving us for the time being, but ONE THAT IS GREATER WILL BE IN US, the Holy Spirit! If that doesn’t get you excited this morning?! We have the means to conquer everything that comes against us, don’t we?! If you believe, you do. And that’s all we need to remember each morning, just like the sun will rise every morning, the Holy Spirit is continually in you! Take hold of that promise dear sisters this morning!

Have a great wkd She’s! And welcome Inses!! Please keep leaving comments so we get to know you!! You not only have made an amazing choice for yourself, but for your dear son, to grow and know Christ! I constantly kept praise music like KLOVE on in the kitchen and in the car beginning when my son was 2, and it was an easy way to bury the words of the Lord into his heart! He is now 21, and I love when you catch him singing along not even realizing it!

I love the song TREMBLE by Lauren Daigle! It’s refreshing to hear a song of being in fear of our GREAT GOD as we should be as we have learned in this amazing study of Ezekiel! I also recommend listening to the Podcast today on this Saturday. The guest is an Old Testament scholar that has lots of insights into Ezekiel.
