Grace Day

Open Your Bible

1 Corinthians 2:9

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

But as it is written
What no eye has seen, no ear has heard,
and no human heart has conceived—
God has prepared these things for those who love him.
—1 Corinthians 2:9

Maura back in March of 2020 Sally Lloyd-Jones was on a She Read Truth Podcast and I heard her. She talked about being and an author of Christian children’s books. I signed up for her newsletters and just got one on September 16 of this year that there is now a “Jesus Storybook Podcast”. Jesus Storybook is one of the books she has written. I signed up because of the little girl I care for as a nurse. The email address for the newsletter is [email protected] and if doesn’t work I would just Google Sally Lloyd-Jones. Hope this helps.

One more prayer request if anybody sees it. I’m extremely frustrated. Taking a shower is such a chore. I’m being very transparent here. I got extremely frustrated while trying to take a shower. I want this to be over.

Please say a prayer for my sweet husband and his mom. We lost my father-in-law Thursday evening, and though they have hope because of our faithful and loving Heavenly Father, it is still very difficult for them. Love to you all. ❤️

Feeling God‘s love through God’s people. And I’m very grateful. Please continue to pray for this ankle. Post op appointment is this Friday. I want to go back to work. Also please pray I qualify for medical assistance. As you can imagine it’s a huge medical expense. But as always I’m trusting my God to provide.

Thank you Kelly for specific prayer for me and my family you mentioned today after the unexpected death of my husband last month. Thank you so much for your continued prayers for peace and comfort during this time of grieving. My emotions have been like a pendulum back-and-forth. In addition, I’ve had to have dental work done because of discomfort and found out yesterday I will need to get a root canal. Good news that I won’t be in pain, but the reality that my husband would’ve been my driver for sedation is a reminder of how I depended on him. Thank you again friends for your prayers. ❤️

SRT sisters, share joy this morning in this promise! Christ is making all things ready for us, with eternal blessings in His presence so wonderful we can’t even presently comprehend them! Let’s continue to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to others so that they too may turn to Him in repentance and put their faith in Him.
