Grace Day

Open Your Bible

1 Corinthians 3:16

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s temple and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

and ALL you wonderful ladies who prayed with/for me yesterday!!! I wasn’t able to read your comments until today…but YOUR prayers, support and encouragement mean SO much!!! Yesterday was pretty rough, and definitely nerve-racking for my parents who take care of me… we’ve all been through so much and have seen such progress…yet when I have a rough/bad day there’s always a fear that tries to come in: “will the seizures take over again” “will the ground we’ve gained be lost” …it all comes rushing in… and my Mum, Dad & I have to CHOOSE each time, to surrender it ALL to God!! It’s not always easy, but when we DO choose to surrender we are filled with such PEACE (that truly does pass all earthly understanding) and we are filled with the CONFIDENCE of God!!! I saw this with both my parents yesterday… both of them worry and struggle, but I saw each of them, in their own way, quietly surrender everything to God (think Isaac & Abraham) knowing He has EVERYTHING in control, even if it means ‘losing’ He will ALWAYS provide exactly what we need!!! It’s an AMAZING process and an AWESOME thing to witness!!! God is good and we all pulled through, with our faith even STRONGER than before!! …Rough days, like yesterday, used to be considered a ‘good’ day… and there was only a HOPE, (along with faith and many many prayers) that it would get better, and now look at the DIFFERENCE!!! I only have rough unfunctional days, a few days a month instead of every single day!!! And even though it’s early in the morning here, I can tell that today is going to be better!!! I will still have to rest, but my body and brain are stronger today!!! So THANK YOU for PRAYING!!!!

SHANA FIELDS, I just read your comment from yesterday! It blew my mind!!! Wow!! I had no idea that Job fell outside of Israelites!! This changes everything about his story and his faith and how personal a relationship he had with God!!! Wow!!!! So incredibly mind blowing!!!! And SO Beautiful!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this!!! You have changed not only my perspective but you also ministered to me in way that I truly needed!! My heart is full of new life and understanding all because you shared what God revealed to you!! Thank you!!! And May you be Blessed!!! Keep sharing my friend, keep sharing!! ❤️❤️❤️

MAURA, I need to rest and recoup…how would you feel about starting up Isaiah 43 on Monday? I LOVED what you wrote about Isaiah 42!!! A totally different perspective than mine!! It was GOOD!!! I also had the thought “I wish Maura and I could just sit down and talk about this chapter…there’s so much in here!!!” I seriously could’ve talked about it all day!!! SO Good!!!!

Here’s to a wonderful and restful weekend!!! Many Blessings to ALL of you!!! ❤️❤️❤️

So thankful that the Holy Spirit always lives & dwells in me…my kids have been sick off and on for 2 wks, then my hubby now I am not feeling well. But it has pushed me to pray and try to walk in the authority Jesus left us with. To know God is always near makes this time so much more bearable. He walks through every trial and valley and all of it with us!

Amen, SEARCHING! Praying that you received the wisdom from God that you needed last week and you can rest in His peace.

STRUGGLING – praying you sense God’s continuing comfort and peace.

SARAH & LEIGHA – praying the Lord would send you fellow Chirstians to join you in your journies. In the meantime I hope this community is helping you.

Also praying for the many requests for healing of bodies, minds, and relationships.

Reading 1 Corinthians 3 this morning, the first part of v 19 really got my attention.

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.

Lord, help me to remember that true/real wisdom comes from You. I pray this morning for those that don’t know or have walked away from Truth, that the lies disguised as truth would be revealed, that they would come to know You and the Truth of Your Word. Help me stay focused on You and not be fooled by the lies that surround me.

Good morning sisters! It’s early where I am and for all sorts of reasons I am sat out in the garden with my coffee. The Lord knows the things troubling me at present and what joy filled my heart with today’s verse: The Lord is right here with me because His Spirit is within me!! Have a wonderful day ladies
