Happy Saturday ladies! The sun rose today, I have life and breath, God is in control. When He calls us to do something, He will equip us. He is faithful. He is faithful. He is faithful!

I like the certainty of this verse. There’s no equivocating. It’s direct, to the point, no nonsense, bold, confident, assured and TRUTH. It’s a brisk 28 degrees here so I will hunker down with my blanket and my Bible and bask in the knowledge that He is at work. And He is good. May we all rest in His peace this weekend.

    Yes He is!

If He has called me, He will absolutely 100 PERCENT BE FAITHFUL..

What will be the point of His calling me otherwise?

    Right?

    He WILL do it..!

    But God.

    Amen.

Praying His goodness and mercy to follow you this wet weekend, wrapped in love.❤

TINA – great post, glad it posted yesterday after approval

Along with many others that posted, the massive loss of life in the Bible and especially the Old Testament is so painful to read and nearly impossible to understand. I have to focus on God’s goodness, His mercy, His love, His omniscience, His faithfulness and believe that He is God – a good, good Father with reasons and purposes that many times (most times?) we can’t see or understand as humans. It wasn’t that long ago (pre covid though) that someone I really looked up to was fired from a leadership position in our church. I met with the pastor to ask whether that action was too harsh … his reply? “Unfortunately, no. You don’t know everything about the situation.” Even more so with God.

My heart breaks for all who turn their back on Him or refuse to acknowledge His existence, much less His greatness and are, in effect, choosing their own destruction. Praying for the lost!

As a missionary to Spain, I have found it easy to fall into the trap of “worrying whether or not it’ll work out”. This could be in finances, in finding a place to live, in just about anything. However, many times God has reminded me of this- “Maiya if I have called you, I will equip you”. I ktrust my God and know that He is faithful….I’m very grateful for this. And I’m even more grateful for His patience with me to remind me when I need the reminder.

    Have a blessed weekend ladies!
