Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.
Rest in God alone, my soul,
for my hope comes from him.

Praying for you, Danielle, that your cancer will not spread and that you will have the peace that passes all understanding.
❤️
My soul waits on you lord!
I needed this today. Woke up to the news that the Lord called a dear aunt home to Him. I’m still at loss of words and my grandmother just groins in pain. Pray with me over my grandma, as well as my aunts children and grandchildren.
If anyone has the Bible app, this is the verse of the day: ““Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink— even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk— it’s all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food.”
Isaiah 55:1-2 NLT
There is a place above the verse that says Open Story. You will find a quick 1-3 minute video talking about the verse. He was saying that nothing we chase after really satisfies, Only Jesus can. There’s also a short devotional read and a prayer. The prayer was something like this: God, before I do anything else I want to take this time to give You the thanks You rightly deserve. I want to draw close and feel Your comfort and strength. Please speak to me. Please give me Your rest. In Jesus Name Amen.
I thought I’d share, because of the verse here. Have a great day!
Our hope does not lie in ourselves, the government or anything we possess. Our hope lies in a Person. Jesus the Christ. The Savior of the world. The Alpha and Omega. Lord and King. Friend.
Let us worship and bow down.
