Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Job 38:19–24

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading. Each Saturday, we will read a section from God’s response to Job in chapter 38.

“Where is the road to the home of light?
Do you know where darkness lives,
so you can lead it back to its border?
Are you familiar with the paths to its home?
Don’t you know? You were already born;
you have lived so long!
Have you entered the place where the snow is stored?
Or have you seen the storehouses of hail,
which I hold in reserve for times of trouble,
for the day of warfare and battle?
What road leads to the place where light is dispersed?
Where is the source of the east wind that spreads across the earth?”

    “There is a God and I am not Him”. This is the first line of a meditation I wrote when I wanted nothing to do with God. I finally realized that I could not deny His existence any longer. Now, He is my loving Father. But that does not change the fact that He deserves my awe, respect, and worship.

    After the first anxiety attack that I’ve had since 2015 I think it’s time to get back on a She Reads Truth plan… Job is such a good place to start. Lost everything he had and got double of it back because he was faithful. Trying to stay faithful today. ♥️

    Hi everyone!! Well, I decided to accept the internship position at the marine park in Hawaii!! I’ve been to Hawaii twice before, and am just so so thankful that I can go again for this. Going to learn lots!! Please pray for me that I would have peace and not be afraid of traveling by myself and stuff, and just that I would be confident in what I do or not be anxious/nervous about it.
