Grace Day

Open Your Bible

Job 38:4–7

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading. Each Saturday, we will read a section from God’s response to Job in chapter 38.

“Where were you when I established the earth?
Tell me, if you have understanding.
Who fixed its dimensions? Certainly you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
What supports its foundations?
Or who laid its cornerstone
while the morning stars sang together
and all the sons of God shouted for joy?”
—Job 38:4–7

This verse beckons us to rely on God in every moment. Even when our lives feel aimless, out of control, confusing or scary, He has it all in his hands. The magnitude of this reality comforts my soul! Loved this reminder of God’s power today!

God has made everything who am I to question Him. It’s such a beautiful day I’m going to go walk on the beach because that’s where I always feel so connected to God. This study has been so good so far. I needed to hear these words.

HE. My God. Your God. Is always with you, HE is always with me. I had to make another hard decision late last night. It was more of a little warnings through this week. I’m not able to give details BUT please pray that I will be able to word the things right and please pray for the safety of me and my family.

Verses like this give me chills! He is so truly awe inspiring.
Forever worthy of all my adoration.
I’m so thankful that God made relationship with Him not only accessible, but necessary.
We are all fully dependent on Him, when we’re aware of it, when we’re not, and I wouldn’t wish it any other way.
