Day 27

Grace Day

from the Luke reading plan

Ezekiel 34:11-12

BY She Reads Truth

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

11 “‘For this is what the Lord God says: See, I myself will search for my flock and look for them. 12 As a shepherd looks for his sheep on the day he is among his scattered flock, so I will look for my flock. I will rescue them from all the places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and total darkness.
Ezekiel 34:11–12

God give us free will. He gives us the choice to follow Him. He gives us the choice to choose Him. 2,000 years ago, He sent His Son to save us all. However, He still give the choice. God is seeking you, although He doesn’t need you, He just simply wants you. Seek His face. Seek His voice. Sheep know their Shepard by His voice and follow Him. God is seeking you… He wants you. He will meet you wherever you may be, even in the darkness.

Good morning ladies! So glad to be here with you this morning. I will join you in prayer Churchmouse. I remember years back James Dobson from focus on the family talking about this with a heavy heart. Did something else change? Meanwhile, we need to pray that if young lady or woman finds herself in this situation that she would go to her nearest pregnancy center. I know that these nonprofit pregnancy centers, lives are being saved. I heard an amazing testimony a couple of days ago.

  5. Karen says:

“I myself will search for my sheep and look after them.” Such comforting words from our mighty and amazing God. Thank you Lord for searching for us and pursuing us when we stray, for drawing us back into your flock, offering complete forgiveness through Christ, and looking after us always. May I dwell on this in my heart each day and draw strength and comfort from your Word.

“A Day of clouds and total darkness.”
My thoughts are on the decision in New York to permit abortion up through the third trimester. The Good Shepherd is searching for His flock, those believers scattered throughout this world where the prince of darkness roams seeking to steal, kill and destroy. The flock, though scattered, yet belongs to the Great Shepherd and greater is He that is in His flock than he that is in the world. Fall to your knees, fellow Christians, for revival begins within the church. Fall on your knees in repentance and intercession and rise up against pervasive evil. How dare we let those who call evil good and good evil go unchallenged. Our power lies in prayer. Let us don our armor, wield the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and do battle to rescue the tiniest of sheep. Let our prayers pierce the darkness. Let our prayers prompt a mighty and undeniable move of our God, our great Shepherd. He is looking for us, His flock, scattered about this land, to do just that. Let us fall to our knees and watch Him rise up. Oh this is my heartfelt plea.

This verse is just so awesome. Amazing. Wonderful.

What it says to me is that, no matter Where I roam, no matter how I fall short, no matter What I have done, no matter when I have not been obedient … no matter how far the east is from the west,
God will search for me because I am as precious to Him as air is to my lungs, and that He won’t stop looking, until I am safe in His loving, protective, ‘everything I need’ and faithful arms..

I love that thought. That image!

    But God…

Oh yes even in This, there is a But God..

He doesn’t stop at me or you my sister’s, this search, this looking is for ALL we love who are not walking with Him yet, isn’t that awesome..

He never gives up .. .. on any of us..EVER!

    Amen.

Happy Saturday with love and prayers for a God awesome weekend..
