calendar meeting!

Hi, friends!!

Let’s circle up for a quick calendar meeting – we want everyone to know what to expect in the next week or so!

The Risen Christ plan wrapped up yesterday (what did you learn? how did the Holy Spirit speak to you?).

Today is a grace day. Because we all need grace days, don’t we? It’s a day to catch up on devotional days you may have had to skip, or to sit quietly in a Psalm, or to journal a prayer. Grace days are a nice change of pace for all of us to meet with the Lord outside of our routine. I love grace days.

Tomorrow, we have a happy gift planned for you. Something related to the Risen Christ plan. Something “just because.”

Saturday will be a good day for us to give an update on the progress of the app design and development. Would you like to see a few of the mockups??? We think you’ll be pleased!

Sundays are typically Weekly Truth days, and even though we’re between plans, we’ll still plan to have a new lock screen ready for you that day! (Are you enjoying the lock screens? Any feedback on those?)

Monday, we’ll launch the new study: NEHEMIAH!! We’re crazy excited about this. This Old Testament book has gripped our hearts so powerfully. (Are we allowed to pick favorites?) As we’ve worked through preparations for this plan, we can’t help but relate with the community in Nehemiah as we, too, are amidst a building project for the Kingdom – with you!

As you may know, we’ve offered a new product to serve as a companion with the online study. The Study Pack comes with a SheReadsTruth Nehemiah Journal with a watercolored map and beautiful benediction, 2 Scripture cards for memorization, and an 8×10 scripture print of one of our favorite verses from Nehemiah. You can absolutely participate in the study without a Study Pack. These are just something you have asked for and it has been our joy to create them.

If you’ve already ordered a study pack, it should be in your hands in time for the study to begin on Monday. If you still want to order one, we’re shipping them out daily, so you’ll get them just as quickly as possible!

And finally, we have a pretty big, fun announcement coming next Wednesday. Something close to our hearts. Something we’ll be doing this summer. Because to whom much is given, much is required. We’re excited about this opportunity to give back, and we’ll get to share that with you next week.

Happy grace day, dear friends! We’re so thankful for you.

Mock ups, yes please! I wish I could be one of those beta testers, but so excited to see how the apps are coming along! I enjoyed the Risen Christ plan. I’ve learned new things about the ressurection and ascension and the insight of the community here has also been very helpful. Love the grace days! It’s usually when I go back to read the #SheSharesTruth posts and blogs. I hope it will also continue and encourage more people like me to start up that blog we’ve always wanted to do and share. Weekly Truths have helped me in memorizing more Scriptures. I love the lockscreens! I use them on my phone and I like the designs and it’s always a conversation starter when people see them and ask where I got them from. Another way to tell women about SRT. All the updates and surprises! Our cups are overflowing! The new Nehemiah study on Monday! I’ve been anticipating it since the announcement of the study guide! Thank you SRT team!

I commented yesterday but also wanted to add something here. I LOVE your lock screens – they are beautiful reminders of God's Word each time I look at my phone – which of course is quite often. I did want to make a suggestion, though. Sometimes for me, when there is a person in the image, I find it distracting from the Scripture passage. I'm not really sure why, but I know that I want to focus on the Truth in that verse and for me, having another person's face there in the image just distracts me from that. In the past, when you've had people on your lock screens, I think you've typically offered two images to choose from, which I am very thankful for. I just wanted to put my two cents in about your lock screens – I use them each time you've posted them and love having them – I just wanted you to hear from me. Thanks for your loving & caring understanding!

I love the lock screens! I wish they formatted better for Samsung Gs3’s it often cuts of words. It is more a samsung glitch though. I so love being able to keep God’s precious messages in easy view. I love this community so much, so glad God lead me to it. It enriches my life so much. Thank you for being faithful to your calling, the Father moves through your ministry straight to my heart.

Feedback on the lock screens is LOVE THEM! on my phone every week =)

Thank you for the lock screens! If I did have feedback, it would be that sometimes it doesn’t “fit” well with the iPhone screen. Sometimes it’s hard to adjust it so that the time, date and “slide to unlock” doesn’t cover the text. But I loooove them and saw a comment above about them rotating as a computer background…genius!

I love everything about this site! The Nehemiah journal is gorgeous (I received mine yesterday!), the lock screens are awesome- I make myself read mine before unlocking my phone (almost) every time! I'm super excited about your news and so thankful to the Lord that He is blessing all you with such an amazing ministry! :)
