These passages remind me that reading the scripture isn’t enough. I need to truly welcome the lord into my heart and have faith that he has a plan for me

47But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”

Thought provoking and one of those “WOW!!” verses. It’s an eye opener for sure!!

Why does it say read in bible? Is it not the same?!

I am not sure, I would like to know as well.

It is the same it’s just a link that allows you to go to it in the Bible where you can see where it is or read verses before or after. Or you can click on words or verses in a bible app that have references to them so it allows you to look those up

  6. Sharon Jones says:

13Then the Lord said to Abram, “Know for certain that your offspring will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs and will be servants there, and they will be afflicted for four hundred years. 14But I will bring judgment on the nation that they serve, and afterward they shall come out with great possessions. 15As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age. 16And they shall come back here in the fourth generation, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.”

  7. Mac Kenzie says:

39You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, 40yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.

    So convicting!
