be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
I just love this verse. I need that constant reminder to be patient and take heart that he is there we just need to wait on him!
I needed this reminder too! He IS there and like we’ve read in Exodus, He will fight for us — we need only to be still & wait on the Lord. Which is the hardest thing to do sometimes but worth it — His ways are so much higher than ours!
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
I love this! The Lord is always by our side and we need not fear anyone or anything in this world because with him we can overcome all battles we face in this world!
Going thru quite a bit right now. This passage of scripture is so encouraging.
Psalms 27:1 is great for those (like me) who suffer with anxiety.
I agree. I suffer with anxiety and have a newborn so it doesn’t help. But reading this passage of scripture definitely offers encouragement
