  1. Loida says:

I LOVE THIS PART: “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered King Nebuchadnezzar, “Your threat means nothing to us. If you throw us in the fire, the God we serve can rescue us from your roaring furnace and anything else you might cook up, O king. But even if he doesn’t, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference, O king. We still wouldn’t serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”

  2. Hanna says:

3 How great are his signs,
    how mighty his wonders!
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and his dominion endures from generation to generation.
One of my favorite verses from today’s reading!! Such a great reminder of how amazing our Lord is. He is willing to do anything for his children!

Ladies, I have been hanging in here with this plan this whole year and I am feeling some desperation and would love some prayer. My mom has been sober for 2 years and now she has fallen off the wagon again. I’m really scared for her and I’m sad for my baby boy who is going to miss knowing the wonderful person she is when she is sober. Please pray for her if you have a moment.

    1. Kristen S says:

      Praying for you Ali.

    2. Christina D. says:

Praying for you and your mom Ali. Asking the Lord to intervene in her life and get her back on the wagon. Praying that the Lord will bring you peace and comfort. Praying that your sweet son will be a reminder to your mom of the many many reasons the hard work of sobriety is worth it.

    3. ~Grace & Peace says:

Heavenly Father, as You have given back King Nebuchadnezzar’s mind, please do the same for Ali’s Mom. And as You were with Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace, be with Ali’s Mom as well. And please burn off the addiction that binds her. You are the only one who can free and heal. We ask that you do so. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

    4. Shirl says:

Yes praying the Lord restore your mom like He did for king nebucchanezzer. May He all of us our sins and infirmities.

All our anxiety, overwork and fatigue

    5. Rebecca says:

God will make things right I pray to give you and your family strength for these tough times

  7. Laura says:

Loved seeing the bigger picture of Nebuchadnezzar yesterday and today, hadn’t realized that it was just after he’d had his dream of the giant statue that he’d had one made of himself…he got a little off track from acknowledging God to setting himself up to be worshipped, and then needing to be further humbled by his time in the field…thankful the Lord never gave up on him! He’s so patient! So full of grace even as He does NOT tolerate sin!!
