    He is just. He cares for us. He can handle our emotions. He is Holy. He does what He says. He protects. He rescues.

  2. Oceanna King says:

    19 They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved. – 2 Peter 2:19

    He will absolutely deliver us from the trials we undergo & send punishment on the corrupt teachers of the world.

  5. Sarah Johnson says:

    I love that list given in 2 Peter that outlines all of the times God rescued his people from trials. In the midst of COVID and the BLM protesting, I feel like we are in the middle of a huge trial. God has rescued his people from things like this before, and he’ll do it again.

  6. Sharon Ide says:

    Anyone who says God is only responsible for the good in life and has no control over the bad has never read Lamentations. The Israelites fully understand that God has ordained such judgment, and yet the command is to turn to that same God and cry out for mercy for IF they do, He has compassion on His people.

  7. E Hong says:

    20“Look, O Lord, for I am in distress;
    my stomach churns;
    my heart is wrung within me,
    because I have been very rebellious.
