Love James 3, it is so true that our tongues are capable of so much- and often we lose control and act in a manner adverse to God’s will for us. Praying that each and every one of us continue to seek his wisdom and use our tongues for good.

I enjoy how we hear the voice and of Jobs friends who give questionable advice alongside the words around wisdom of the tongue. I think the words of Jobs friends are important as they call into question our doubts questions judgement but now my prayer must be of wise words inspired by God.

There’s a call to humility in today’s reading. Our righteousness always falls short of God’s standards and he is the only one we should measure ourselves against. Job 9:20 Though I am in the right, my own mouth would condemn me; though I and blameless, He would prove me perverse.
