I love the fact the just as Peter denied knowing the Lord thrice, the Lord asked him thrice if he loved it. In this way forgiveness was shown and Peter knew without the Lord saying the Jesus knew he had indeed thrice denied him.
10 “You speak as a foolish woman speaks,” he told her. “Should we accept only good from God and not adversity? ” Throughout all this Job did not sin in what he said. – Job 2:1
the love, the trust, the faith that job had in the Lord is something i want for myself. “There once was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless—a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil.”
Job 1:1 NLT
Job 1 & 2 and John 21 great reads. i love the last verse in John 21 “There are many other things that Jesus did. If every one of them were written down, I think the whole world would not be big enough for all the books that would be written.”
John 21:25 ICB
Always gives me chills! It sort of breaks the fourth wall and all of a sudden you can imagine John at a desk, contemplating all that he’s witnessed. Amazing.
“Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. We’re every one of them to be written, I supposed that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” Love this verse!!
