Wow! Job’s love for God was not dependent on what he could get from Him. Is my life for God based on gratefulness for the cross and not greediness for a rich, easy life? Just like John 21 pointed out, even in persecution and hard times on earth, God has a greater plan of how to use it.

Now that I think about it, I have never cursed God for anything bad that has happened to me and I’m proud of myself for that.
