Until Shiloh comes,
And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.
19So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

31but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.
~life in His name, what a wonderful, beautiful name, the name of Jesus!
It’s crazy when John says there are many more miracles performed by Jesus that the Bible just doesn’t have space for. That sentence made me realize if I were lucky enough to see Jesus I would have written a gigantic book about it, too!
“But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (20:31). This was the whole purpose of the Gospel message. To reveal the deity of Christ and His desire and power to save!
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today” (50:20). Again, He saw the hand of God instead of a set of “bad circumstances”. Father, give me eyes of faith so that I will look for your hand even in the darkest times!
