  1. Ariadne says:

    5 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
    I need constant reminding at times.. Lord, your ways are higher than mine.

  2. Alexis says:

    Psalm 90:17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.
    Praying that my eyes and heart are open to the work He has established for me.

  3. Becky T says:

    I really needed psalm 91 tonight. God always has a way of reaching out to us in our times of need and reminding us of His everlasting love and protection. I can do all things through Christ!

  4. Antimony says:

    Interesting contrast:
    Psalm 90: “For we are brought to an end by your anger; by your wrath we are dismayed. You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence”.

    Psalm 91: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

  5. Christina D. says:

    4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,
    mightier than the breakers of the sea—
    the Lord on high is mighty.
    I needed this awesome reminder of the depth of God’s power today.

  6. Leah Swindon says:

    Today’s reading… I was in a spirit of praise this morning. I like to pray before I read and ask God to help me see what I would miss on my own. This morning, before reading, I just felt grateful…even in the midst of recovering from a painful surgery, I just felt peace. And then reading these psalms completely matched my mood. There are some challenging lines of truth, references to secret sins, etc. But the overarching sense of God’s love for His people was beautiful to read. So many underlined verses, but I’m resting in these: 90:12 Teach us to number our days,
    that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

    And…

    92:1 It is good to praise the Lord
    and make music to your name, O Most High,
    2 proclaiming your love in the morning
    and your faithfulness at night,

    Happy Sunday friends!

  7. Staceysnyder says:

    14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
    I will protect him, because he knows my name.
    15 When he calls to me, I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble;
    I will rescue him and honor him.
    Love these verses, God’s promise is so comforting.

    1. Bre says:

      These stood out to me as well! It brings me so much peace to read these promises made to us by our God

  8. Katrina P says:

    Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth,
    or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
    from everlasting to everlasting you are God. – He is the cornerstone and will return! Happy Sunday, be blessed everyone!

    1. Hesaved83 says:

      Amen, Katrina! To God be all the glory, honor & praise!
