At first I wasn’t sure how these two passages connected, but after reading again I see how they both demonstrate true faith in the Lord. Noah did everything the Lord told him to, just as the servants did when Jesus turned water into wine. An inspiring reminder to trust in the Lord with all your heart!

God knew the evil in men & still sent his son to redeem us. What a faithful Father!

Noah’s obedience is always awe inspiring to me. If I was given those instructions I would have crumbled with anxiety, doubt, fear of not having enough to make it happen, fear of the judgement of man. Maybe we don’t see doubts that we’re there due to the story telling, but maybe he was just so sure of God’s provision and faithfulness that there was no need to doubt.

Two verses that stood out to me were John 2:16 KJV that says “Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.” and John 2:19 and 2:22 KJV that say “Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up” and “When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.”

every time i read Jesus’s words I get chills. So blessed.

Thank you for your comment, I’m a new Christian and this really helped me to understand the message

Vs 8, Then He said to them, “Now draw some out and take Jr to the chief servant.” And they did. This took faith to believe and trust in what the Lord had done and was instructing them to do. Yet in faith, they overused.

  8. Sadie Hood says:

I love the lesson of obedience we are given in Jesus turning water into wine. Mary told the servants to “do whatever he tells you.” This is the reminder that “Full obedience brings joy, satisfaction, and transformation.” (Enduring word commentary).
