I love how in both the instance of Adam and Eve’s sin and Cain’s sin God asked them first what had happened even though he would have already known. He wants His people to come to Him and confess to Him so that He can cover their sin like he did with Adam and Eve.
I’m trying to understand this verse myself! All the others stated that the men died except for this one. Wondering why it’s different!
Maybe, and maybe not. Jesus’ lineage came out of only sinners. Rahab, Lot and his daughters, Bathsheba, to name a few.
