  1. Lisa Egnew says:

7“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed before the king of Assyria and all the horde that is with him, for there are more with us than with him.

  2. Joanne Techow says:

I find it interesting that Manasseh, only when he was at his final straw, was like “let me try this God that my father always raved about” because his “gods” weren’t coming through for him. And when God saves him, that moment of “Wow! This is the real deal” must have swept over him. And he knew that the Lord is God. So many of us are like that….plodding through life, but it’s not until we are on our death bed from an accident or incurable disease, or in financial stress that we look to God for help. This story reminds me of that question: is God your steering wheel or your spare tire? Still though, God is merciful to save us in desperation even though we lived lives ignoring Him! Praise God for that. Can I get an amen?

  3. Oceanna King says:

13He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

  5. Joy DSilva says:

8‘With him is only an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people relied on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. 7“Be strong and courageous, do not fear or be dismayed because of the king of Assyria nor because of all the horde that is with him; for the one with us is greater than the one with him.
