  1. Christina D. says:

This passage is a beautiful reminder to me to pass on to my child (and hopefully someday children!) the stories of God’s work in my life and in our family. We have the whole Bible to share with them of God’s works and faithfulness. I feel it’s also important to share with our children the legacy of God’s grace in our lives as well. How He has carried us through the valleys and difficulties and how He has shared His abundance. “4 We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.” I pray this is a task I can uphold-to share the word of God through the Bible and my own personal experiences of God with my descendants.

      Yes, so beautiful

    2. Gigi says:

We should all be writing the stories of God’s work in our lives. It would be so helpful when we reach low valleys and need reminders of his steadfast love and His promises.

I love this Psalm. One of my favorites. So much history and depth.

So good. Thank you ladies for all your comments, they add such sweetness. It is truly a blessing to be in the Word with all of you. Let’s keep pressing on… Soon we will hit 51% :)

  4. Bre says:

7 Then they would put their trust in God
and would not forget his deeds
    but would keep his commands.
8 They would not be like their ancestors—
    a stubborn and rebellious generation,
whose hearts were not loyal to God,
whose spirits were not faithful to him.

I pray for this description to fit our generation. I pray that we strive to make His name known!

  5. Leah Swindon says:

How beautiful is this verse? Psalm 78:25 Human beings ate the bread of angels; he sent them all the food they could eat.

I just love that description of manna…it speaks so much of God’s love for us. It’s like a moment in time when heaven and earth shared the same food!

      1. Amy Clarke says:

What a great thought…I never looked at it that way.

  6. Katrina P says:

It’s also up to us to continue to teach the power of the Lord in the hopes that future generations don’t mistrust him and experience his proof

  7. Carie says:

I was struck by these two verses…34 Whenever God slew them, they would seek him; they eagerly turned to him again.
35 They remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer.
Sometimes we blame Satan for suffering, and while it is often him, sometimes our loving God brings it too…like a shepherd training his sheep.

  8. Alyce says:

Well that just summarises the first few books of the Bible nice and neatly, haha!

    1. Heidi L says:

      Haha… Yep!
