    Psalm 62
    12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
    and, “You reward everyone
    according to what they have done.”

    We are rewarded not based on what we have and how successful we are, but according to the intent of or hearts and what we’ve done and how we live our lives

    Psalm 62:
    5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
    for my hope is from him.
    6 He only is my rock and my salvation,
    my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
    7 On God rests my salvation and my glory;
    my mighty rock, my refuge is God.

  8. Claire says:

    Shane and Shane sing Psalm 63 on their Hymns 2 album and because I tend to remember lyrics better than I remember anything else, it is such an incredible way to keep scripture in my mind.

    “Because Your love is better than life is
    I will praise You as long as I’m alive
    And in the face of precious Jesus
    O my soul will be satisfied.”
