    I wondered why, knowing that Israel would forsake the covenant, God led them to the promised land anyway. The same idea was reflected in Mark; Jesus knew that Judas would betray him and Peter would deny him and yet he ate with them anyway. I can relate this to myself as well. God knows I may fall away, God knows I’ve done it before. And yet he’s there. Eating with me, fulfilling his promises. He is truly good, and gracious and merciful!
