Scripture Reading: Isaiah 13:1-22, Isaiah 14:1-32, Romans 11:30-36
If I could relive one year of my life, it would most certainly NOT be seventh grade! The social climbing, the raging hormones, the newfound insecurity—I could do without all of that. Of course, I could not have been more thrilled when summer finally arrived that year and I was free of those junior-high hallways for three glorious months.
Hopefully you have fonder memories of middle school than I do. Regardless, I’m sure we’ve all faced times in life where we felt stuck and wanted a reprieve. When we’re in the midst of a trial, it can feel like it will never end. For middle school me, the hope of summer was an escape route from all I wanted to get away from. But when God’s people were stuck under oppression, He had a much grander eternal freedom in store for them.
God’s chosen people frequently found themselves in times of trial throughout the Old Testament. Sometimes it was because of their disobedience to God that they had to face the consequences. Such was the case when Israel went astray and found themselves oppressed by Babylon.
At that time in history, Babylon was the pinnacle of human ingenuity. It was similar to how we might view New York City today—the most powerful city in the world, the hub of secular culture and influence. The ideas that Babylon could be overthrown and the Jewish people freed, would have seemed impossible. Yet God promised through His prophet Isaiah to deliver His people. Not because they deserved it, but because He loved His people and had compassion for them time and again.
And sure enough, the Lord had a plan to overthrow the most powerful city at the time and free Israel. Numerous books of the Old Testament tell how He called His people out of slavery and back under His good and just rule.
Because the Lord’s promises have been proven true, we can trust that He will always make good on His word. God has also given us a promise of deliverance. He said that if we believe in Him, we will have eternal life. Just as He showered compassion on Israel, He generously wipes away all our sins when we repent and follow Him. Not because we earned it, but because He loves us.
The good news is that we can be freed of the oppression of this world in our hearts today. But that’s not all—God also promised that one day He will come again to make everything new. Not just our hearts, but the systems of the world will finally be good and just, exactly as the Creator always intended. If we trust in the promise keeper, we will finally experience the peace we all long for in eternity. Let’s put our trust in the only One with the power to set us free.

Oh, the depth of the riches
and the wisdom and the knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments
and untraceable his ways!
For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?
justAnd who has ever given to God,
that he should be repaid?
For from him and through him
and to him are all things.
To him be the glory forever. Amen.

I know this is Romans 11, but is this Andrew Peterson’s version of it? :)
I wanted to thank everyone who prayed for me I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude! CeeGee, Kirsten Adams, Foster Mama, Lindsey, Jess, Adrienne, DeeDee, Wendy B, Ash H, Zendhili Toussen, Sue Dalos, Wanda Woehlert, Monica Baez and others !! Today is a much better day, it truly is healing from God. Thank you She’s.
So glad to hear ❤️
You are a blessing, V! God loves you and we do, too! May you continue to feel God’s mighty Hand as He guides you through those rough days! ❤
What I love about God’s voice is that He never just says “I’m about to make you suffer!” How whatever sin that is being dealt consequences. He says “ here’s the consequence and after that’s done… I’m going to restore!!! And I’m going to bring you back and it’s going to be better than before because you are going to have experience with me you’ve never had before!” He’s just that good of an ABBA!! To us!!
❤️
❤️
Jesus will make the systems of the world good and just. I cling to that hope.
I love how Romans 11:30-36 connects to Isaiah 13 & 14. They both emphasize God’s sovereignty, mercy, and ultimate plan of restoration. They remind us that even in judgment, God is working out His plan of redemption, leading us to trust in His wisdom and grace.
Amen
Today’s reading was tough. I found my mind wandering more than once.
You’re not alone there!
It was tough! When I finished, I found myself thinking how thankful I am that Jesus died to take away our sins and give us eternal life. I deserve this terrible destruction, but He paid the price for me. Thank you, Jesus.
❤
Sometimes it’s so hard to follow…I feel that way at times too :)
Thanks for saying this. I struggled, too.
God always has a salvation plan for his people. It is hard to read about children and babies being killed during God’s judgment on Israel’s enemies, but I know that God is good and his ways are just; even when I don’t understand.
Good to “see” you Jennifer. You have been absent.
Update: my daughter is doing fine after the head injury. We had a scare of vomiting about 66 hours afterwards and had to go back to the A&E, but after being observed there for awhile, they let us back home. It is hard for a 2 year old not to hit her head again! Thanks for your prayers.
I’m glad your daughter is doing well. How scary a head injury can be! Praying for safety for her.
Yes, glad all is well, that would be scary!
Praise God your daughter is ok!
Another reminder that God does not tolerate sin. There will be judgment and punishment. AND, thankfully, God also is always ready to forgive and make whole again. There is redemption and restoration for those who repent. So we need to be about the business of repenting and asking for God to restore us – I certainly don’t want His judgment or punishment in the end!!
Amen
Yes, Amen…the truth that is not taught!! God does not tolerate sin..he will not be mocked or ignored. I have a good and healthy fear of God.
Praise to God who loves us and runs after us. His love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness given to us is by nothing of our own doing but who He is.
I felt unworthy to be in his presence today but reading this was an encouragement because yes we are always unworthy but He makes us clean and gives us a seat and a place to dwell with the father by His blood and sacrifice for us. We can never make ourselves clean and worthy, only He can. We put our faith, hope, and trust, in Him and Him alone.
❤️
The God who had entire nations slain for their disobedience is the same God who sent Jesus to free us from our sins. Gone are the earthly sacrifices. Here is the grace and mercy of our sweet Savior! How blessed it is to belong to Him!
Yes, Amen!

Hello She’s
“Let’s put our trust in the only One with the power to set us free.”
Free from our worst selves,
in our worst ways,
on our worst days.
Trust in salvation over tyranny.
He waits for us there.

Yes, from our worst ways
our worst days…! Please, Lord, thank you Lord!

“…Our worst selves,in our worst ways, on our worst days….” This. Yes. This.

Praying for all the requests brought here on this day, Lord, that hearts will be mended, our children will find Jesus, jobs will be found, and relationships will be healed. Thank you, Jesus for your promises and may they sustain us until your return✝️ Amen

Dear She’s! My husband will be released from rehab Lord willing on Friday!! He is walking with a cane and even walked unassisted for a few minutes!! To God be the glory! I have found so much
comfort and strength from your prayers and I took your advice to rest and relax while he was away. Please continue to pray for me as I become his caregiver during a time of heavy
responsibilities at church where I serve as an associate minister.
Thankfully my adult daughters are
assisting in his care ,but as you all know he’s looking to his wife to be preeminent in his care.I love this community so much,I truly felt your arms around me as I went through the worst days of
uncertainty! Praying for all She’s especially Lynne from
Alabama in the loss of dear Jack!
R, how encouraging for all of you! Praying for you as you divide your time for all your ‘missions’. Thankful your daughters will be helping! ❤
Prayer upon Prayer with
Blessing upon Blessing, Dear R.
Oh R! That’s great! When people say stroke I think of 2 dear clients that I worked with after their stroke. The man had lost his ability to speak well, and his one side arm and leg full range. He was such a dear to work with, and it is so imperative to keep following up with a well trained exercise professional!! The woman just reminded me that in an instant, all can change. She went from running and very fit, to very slow walking on a treadmill a year later.
I pray for you as a wife/care taker because yes, they seem helpless with a cold–so you will need loss of grace in the months to come, and patience.
I am so glad you feel this community’s love and prayers for you!! Are you on our FB page? you can share with us there his updates and prayer needed if you want! :)
Hugs! And what a “job” you have, prayers that you are able to balance all, and hopefully his daughters will help you!!
Praying for a smooth transition home, what great news you shared! May the Lord give you strength, support and joy for the new responsibilities ahead.
I’m praying for you, R, as you welcome your husband home, and become his primary caregiver. May God bless you with strength and patience, and give you comfort.

Friends, I see on her personal page that our SRT sister Gayle Craik went to her eternal home yesterday, March 9. She is forever healed and whole again. Prayers for her family and loved ones.
Lisa, thank you for sharing. She has had a long difficult battle and was so positive and “always dancing”! Today she dances in heaven and no longer in pain.
❤❤❤
Yes, I loved to watch her dance and that beautiful smile! I kinda had the heaviness feeling when she posted on our page. :/ Hopefully we can post as a SHE on a funeral home page like we did with Dorothy, I know that probably meant a lot to her family….I’m so sad. What a fight she had.
I too, had a heavy feeling over the last few days. She was such a fighter and an encourager. She always had a smile and loved dancing before the Lord. She was such an encouragment to me during the early days of my Myeloma treatment. I know she is free from pain and sadness now as she truly “dances” before her Jesus. Prayers for her family and all of us She’s that prayed and loved Gayle.❤️
❤
❤️
❤
Oh, Lisa, thank you so much for letting us know. What a beautiful sister she was and she will be missed! May God comfort her family. ❤
Oh no! This breaks my heart. Dear Gayle, I am happy that you’re no long in pain. But this news came so suddenly. How short this life can be. I will always remember your smile and joyfulness. I am saying a prayer for you Gayle and your beloved family. May God’s grace and mercies keep them strong.
❤
I’m so sorry that Gayle has died. She was such a bright light and always brought a smile with her dancing and positivity. I’m imagining her dancing before the Lord in heaven today, and praying for comfort for her family.
❤
Sending love and light to Gayle’s
family. I’m so sad hearing the news, but I’m picturing her dancing in heaven bringing
such pleasure to her Jesus!
“For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.”
Romans 11:36 NIV
https://bible.com/bible/111/rom.11.36.NIV
So thankful for God’s grace and forgiveness from our sin. Thankful for the hope we have in Jesus for eternity but also for here on earth! We don’t walk this road alone!
Thanks to all who shared! Your insight ministers!
Praying for all. Thank you ladies for the lists! It helps so much? Can’t write since I broke my wrist! Tried to add to the grocery list, but my husband let me know that he would not be able to decipher my left hand scribbles!
“Because the Lord’s promises have been proven true, we can trust that He will always make good on His word. God has also given us a promise of deliverance.” This verse stood out to me. I am clinging to the Lord’s promises as I navigate this season with my brother BJ. It is so hard to see him suffer physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I am in a perpetual wrestling match with God, on one hand asking why and how is this suffering serving BJ????, and on the other hand, reminding myself of how he has proven himself faithful in the past and continues to do so.
I can’t imagine. Hugs. And prayers.
and for his daughters. I pray that you can pour into them your Trust in the Lord despite the things we don’t understand. It would be awful to see a parent sick and suffer in those teenage years.
It is terrible to watch them witness this! Thank you for the prayers!
❤
I have known such a season! God bless your heart with peace, Tami! Hugs! ❤
I’m praying for you, and for BJ
26 I have a plan for the whole earth,

I just found this song yesterday and couldn’t wait to share it. By Bethel Music/Jenn Johnson.
My preferred version: (the one that introduced me to this song yesterday) is an acoustic version recorded in Amsterdam by Annemarie Coenraad
.
partial lyrics:
There is One on the throne
Jesus, holy
He is worthy of praise
Honor and glory
Oh and we cry
Worthy is the Lamb
Who was slain and seated on the throne
And there’s no one like the Lord
And all of the elders, creatures bow
Giving praise to Him and Him alone
‘Cause there’s no one like the Lord
And we crown You King of glory
And we crown You King of glory
And we crown You King of glory
And we crown You Lord of all
We crown You, You are worthy
We crown You, You are worthy
We crown You, You are worthy
Oh we crown You Lord of all
We crown You King of glory
We crown You King of glory
We crown You King of glory
We crown You Lord of all
NAME OF THE SONG: No One Like the Lord
.
Love, hugs,and prayers, sisters!
VICTORIA E – going back to find your comment I missed! ❤❤
Thank you CeeGee! It was a late night prayer request for my mental health. It’s good to “see” you!
❤ Always good to see you! I did find your prayer request and I am so thankful you had a better day! ❤
There is so much evil and injustice in this world. Every day it seems more and more. Just over this weekend in one of the cities in NJ a 26 year old police officer was shot and killed by a 14 year old. In NJ in order to be tried as an adult, you have to be 15 or older so basically this kid will get away with murder. It is so horribly sad for this young officer and his family. So unjust, so not fair.
—
But God…one day He will make all things right! He is the righteous Judge, He is fair and just. One day He will make everything new – what a day of rejoicing that will be, I so look forward to that day.
—
Many of you have heard me mention my two prodigal sons. My youngest, Jonathan was to be married on June 28. He has been engaged for two years. This past week, 3 months before the wedding, his fiance called it off. Because of some things we have observed in the relationship, my husband and I have been praying for months that if this wedding was not God’s will that He would not allow it to happen. I did believe 100% that God could do it, but I never in a million years thought He would. I am so torn because I know this was an answer to prayer – a HUGE answer, but my son’s heart is broken. His whole future that he envisioned, the family he talked about having, all of his plans have come to a screeching halt. My heart hurts for him.
Please pray that through all of this he will call out to God and embrace the faith he was raised in. And please pray that God would comfort him as he mourns this loss.
—
@Carrie Gulliford – I will be praying for your dear brother’s recovery.
@Victoria E – Praying for healing from your mental health struggles.
@Mia Faith – continued prayer for you and your family.

You are all so dear to me. Have a blessed Monday. ❤️
Sharon, my heart hurts with you, but I join you in your prayers for your son to be drawn to the Lord during this time. ❤
Hi Sharon, oh how a mama hurts when her children hurt. I’m praying for God to heal Jonathan’s heart and a He does, that He would reveal himself to Jonathan.
Oh wow. I kinda relate because my son was in a 6 year relationship, and then she broke up with him. He was shocked and hurt. Now he has a new gf, and they were just here to visit and they are so giddy and in love, and I have seen a happiness I did not see in the previous relationship!
I love that God broke up this relationship in just the best time, before a marriage and children that could have suffered! But yes, seeing our children being heartbroken is hard. I was just there to remind my son better things were to come! I pray your son will turn his broken heart to the Lord!!! In Jesus name!!
Prayers Sharon..
Praying for your son.
I pray for Jonathan as he mourns the loss of what he had planned as his future, and pray he turns to the Lord in his life.
Praying Sharon!❤️
Good morning Sisters,
@ DANIELLE B and @ VICTORIA and all those who have put requests… praying for you.

@ KELLY (NEO) Thank you so much for your follow-up — God bless you ❤️
My goddaughter and mom seem to be better than they’ve been in a long time but they have moved ~ an hour away to live with Mom’s boyfriend so harder to see her these days. Also, grandmother got into a car accident (she’s ok) and they were quite dependent on her car (and are much too financially insecure to get another one). Still, I’m encouraged.

As for the baby,…after much prayer and analysis and praying some more, we decided not to take the younger sibling. I strongly believe that (unlike when we DID take a newborn sibling in past), it would have made things harder rather than easier for the person in our home now. More importantly….the PROCESS and period of thinking produced fruit in our lives….so I’m so thankful for that challenging period.

I’m dealing with a very tough client who my hubby feels (from the little he sees) that I should drop ASAP. I have a heart for him (I feel for him and want to work alongside his stressed out Mom to help him) but my husband is right that he could ruin my career as a therapist and cause me a world of hurt … we are planning a meeting soon where I may be asked to “double down” on the work OR have an opportunity to exit. Please pray for me [and my sleepier-than-usual self / brain :) ] for wisdom and favour.
I will be praying for you, Foster Mama. ❤️
❤
Always good to see you Sister!! You have such a tough job and I love that you do it!! I used to work for a public defender in these child custody cases and had to type up all the notes—It is heartbreaking for the children that have to endure what their parents do/go through. She finally had to quit due to the mental health it did on her. Anyway—Thank you for being an advocate for these kids. It is a huge problem that seems to have faded with all the others happenings taking the headlines. Bless you and all others that care about our kids. You reminded me to keep them in the forefront of my prayers, and praying for you to follow God’s plan for this situation!!
Praying for wisdom and insights to weigh your capacity with the tough client. So thankful to hear your updates. I dont know how you do all this! What a warrior you are.❤️
Praying for God’s guidance and protection in dealing with the difficult client.
Thank you to each of you ❤️ So much love
We sang “Trust in God” in jail ministry this week and then again at church yesterday. It reminds me a lot of the Hymn “Trust and Obey”…for there’s no other way..!
The scripture is God’s beautiful life manual to us, everything we need to hold dear in our hearts, to trust, believe, and obey! To put what the social media, the news, and all things aside to His word. Is it our source, is it our go to book, is it our life manual? God is the judge of all things- and he will bring justice and make nations fall. But I KNOW I can trust that those who trust in Him with all of their hearts, and not just a one day a weeker, but a passionate, want Him as their daily Lord, Kingdom thinker and craver—they will find peace and life everlasting!! Thank you Jesus!
Even knowing that the devil is our biggest adversary that comes to kill, steal, and destroy…even knowing THAT..Paul tells us we have the armor needed! I truthfully am more scared of the spiritual battle happening then that of the things happening on the surface!! We are in a battle, I am so glad I KNOW I have victory in Jesus!! Again, THANK You Jesus!! I praise you, I glorify you…I trust you! You hold all things in your hands! NOTHING happens without you saying yes, and for your purposes! I stand on the solid rock, I have you in the fire, I have you in the pit, I have you against the giants, I have you against my own flesh and mind! I have the Maker and Creator, the mover of mountains and restorer of hearts!
Amen! ❤ We crown Him Lord of all!
Amen!!
Amen!!
Trusting in Him.
❤❤❤
Praying that you and your dear ones are doing well. Hugs.
“Because the Lord’s promises have been proven true, we can trust that He will always make good on His word. God has also given us a promise of deliverance. He said that if we believe in Him, we will have eternal life.”
Thank for this clear reminder, Katie Stoddard and that God’s Word, His promises are true. That His power, might, deliverance can set us free, that all our hope is rightly placed in our Lord.
That is the part I was going to post! So thankful! ❤
Yes, Amen! Powerful reminder that we MUST trust in, and know it beyond any fear we have.
Yes, I wrote this in my notes!
That statement grabbed me too. Made me realize that those promises that we know came to pass enable us to believe in the promises God has given us.
I’m trusting in the ONLY ONE with the power to set us free. Last night was not a good night before bed. Too much and a painful to go over this early in the morning. I trust my JESUS and in His power that I was set free a long time ago with mistakes and all. I do ask for prayer for my children especially my son who went to bed hurt/angry over some of the past. My prayer for him is that he would know that he and my daughter were meant to be here, that they are not mistakes regardless of what happened to their dad and I.
Mari, that makes my heart sad for your kids. Praying that they can forgive and just give the bad memories to God. As they focus on making their own way in this world, those memories can be less powerful. God helped me through similar hurts and I didn’t even realize until much later that those memories no longer had me in their power- all glory to God.
Praying today is a better day for y’all! ❤❤❤
Yes, like CeeGee said. Our kids have to know the hard truths, but when they know and wrestle with it, they will see their mother’s love and protection. Their dad may not be what they hoped and envisioned but they know they have a Father God that is perfect and they can trust with all their hearts from the way you taught them from young ages, to finding it themselves!
Praying for your children, and for you. ❤️
THANK YOU sweet She’s. I’m running on very minimal sleep, have a substitute teacher and basically I had to run the class and it’s only giving me the strength to do it today. I can’t wait to go home and rest and get a good nights sleep
I’m praying for you, Mari V
Praying for you and your children Mari V!
Oh… Babylon… ugh! But thank you, Kaitie Stoddard, for this… “But that’s not all—God also promised that one day He will come again to make everything new. Not just our hearts, but the systems of the world will finally be good and just, exactly as the Creator always intended. ”
.
Come, Lord Jesus!
Thank you Lord for making a way. For giving 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc chances when we stray or have doubts…But God, You are there. You have our best interests at heart, if we would only trust, believe and obey.
Last Thursday, I was surprisingly told that my job had been eliminated. Nothing I did wrong, but upper management was doing a restructure and no longer needed me. I was devastated…I still am. I really liked my job and I enjoyed the people and relationships I have made over the past 3.5 years.
So…newly single, new homeowner, 3 children with one in college…needless to say, after the tears, I need to begin searching for a job. Please pray that I am wise in my preparations and searching, that I speak to the right people, and that a position will come that is right for both me and my family. I appreciate your prayers in advance!!!! Thank you She’s. Have a wonderful Monday!
Oh, Tara… kinda scary and definitely disheartening. I suffered those same feeling a coupla years ago when WW did the same thing to me after 29 years!
.
Keep trusting. You seem like you are… so that’s good. It would be so easy to NOT trust, wouldn’t it?
.
Will indeed be lifting you up to Him. ❤️
Oh what a blindside, so sorry! Prays for what you are asking for! God will bless you! Praying you find something better and even more fulfilling by trusting in the Lord!!
My prayer for you exactly, @ TARA
Oh Tara….praying right now!
Oh no…that is so difficult – I’m sorry. Have prayed for you right now, Tara.
Tara, praying for you. I recently went through the same thing, but after 30 years with the company. God is faithful and He has brought me to a new position. Hold fast to your trust in Him!He has your best in mind.
I too have had your experience in losing a job I loved and the stress that results. The Lord generously and faithfully provided an even better job for me. I am confident He will do the same for you. Praying for you as you seek what He has prepared for you. ❤️
Oh Tara I am so sorry to hear what has happened to you. I will be praying that God connects you to just the right people at just the right time and that very soon you will be working again. ❤️
I’m praying this closed door will open an even better one. God knows!
Abundant prayer, Tara, as you pursue the right next thing.
I am so sorry. May this be a time of good rest, and re-directing ( to view rejection as redirection, a great blessing in disguise, a gain rather than a loss, not moments of pain but rather moments of growth and trust in the Most High). He has a good plan for you – a plan of hope, a plan to prosper you. May you take comfort in knowing that when we trust God, we take risks, and these risks will help us to grow stronger and closer to Him, in Him. He is the Merciful One and He will surely deliver His promises to his beloved child.❤️
I pray that God will lead you to the job He has prepared for you, and give you comfort as you process the loss of your old job.
Father, remove the love of the world from my heart. I only want you to be the focus of my love but I frequently get off track.
Amen.
Thank you, Lord for the promise of deliverance!
Trusting the only reliable source we have!
As I read these sobering passages about the Lord’s wrath against all evil, about His protection of His children, of Israel’s freedom and restoration, I was overwhelmed with thankfulness for my salvation and forgiven sins. Thank You, Lord!
.
Reading Romans 11:36 (For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen), I am reminded of the song, Worthy of It All.
.
You’re worthy of it all
You’re worthy of it all
For from You are all things
And to You are all things
You deserve the glory

Those verses tried to find that song in my mind, and then you were able to name it for me! :)
Thank you also for reminding me of all the prayer request, you make it easy to pray again through your written list! Your the best!! :) (and Kelly!)
Thank you so much for following up about Jesse. He is making improvements with his medications after having the heart valve procedure.
Please pray that he can make the adaptations to his Parkinson’s disease in addition to his other medical issues. Since he is blind in one eye from glaucoma, he hasn’t driven in years. He gets visits from Meals on Wheels, home health visiting him with a weekly nurse visit and some physical therapy as provided and prescribed through Medicare.
I am praying for requests mentioned as well. ❤️
Amen to all you posted. Love that song! ❤
Joining you in prayers dear sister. Thank you for your faithfulness (and shout out to KELLY NEO) for your efforts tracking the requests so we can pray together. You guys are incredible!❤️
Lord thank you for your love and providing the way for redemption to be with you one day.
Ladies, I covet your prayers as I navigate the waiting for surgery but also try to figure out how to work some. I need to figure out balance and most importantly trust God has my needs in His Hans!
The uncertainty of a medical crisis is so difficult. Thinking back to our verse yesterday Danielle and this reminder of one of the many truths from God’s Word. May His peace and presence be near, His wisdom, protection and healing be upon you✝️
‘But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name, Danielle; you are mine.” Isa 43:1
It’s the memorization verse for this study.
It must be weighing heavily, stay in his perfect peace, that he has already holds you in his hands and working all things for his good. He will not forsake you. Lots of love to you this morning.
Praying for you Danielle! It is so tough to sit and wait. Praying for wisdom on your work duties as well. ❤️
Agreeing with our sisters here! ❤
Thank you God for making a way!! And always staying true to your word. ❤️
Trust Gods sovereignty, Practice humility, Stand for justice (reflect Gods heart), Hope in Gods restoration (He has not forgotten and His promises will come to pass), Guard against spiritual pride.
Absolute agreement, dear Kimberly.
Thank you for naming “right posture”.
So grateful for the promise that all will be made new and that we can rest in His presence here and now. His mercies are new every morning! ❤️
❤️
This is what we have been saved from when Jesus took on God’s wrath at the cross:
“9 Look, the day of the Lord is coming—
cruel, with fury and burning anger—
to make the earth a desolation
and to destroy its sinners.
10 Indeed, the stars of the sky and its constellations
will not give their light.
The sun will be dark when it rises,
and the moon will not shine.
11 I will punish the world for its evil,
and wicked people for their iniquities.
I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant
and humiliate the insolence of tyrants.
.
13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble,
and the earth will shake from its foundations
at the wrath of the Lord of Armies,
on the day of his burning anger.”

Thanks be to God for His mercy on me a sinner.

13:13 stood out to me this morning, too, but I didn’t even connect it to what I had been saved from through Jesus. Thank you for reminding me of that!
I love the way you put that Kelly. It can sound so scary the power of God and the judgement of the nation. We get scared with hurricanes and wildfires and tornadoes and such when they wipe out our “kingdoms.” And we get scared of knowing the judgement to come….BUT GOD…through Jesus we KNOW he is our protection. We have to know that we know that we know! He IS our protector, our Savior!! No fear. We ARE strong and courageous in Him!
Thank you for this reminder Kelly! Look at what we have been saved from. WOW – sobering!
❤
Thank you KELLY for checking in. By God’s grace things are going smoothly. So appreciate you!
Amen. I put my trust in You Lord. Reward my faith, forgive my doubt. In Jesus name, Amen
