Grace Day

Open Your Bible

2 Corinthians 6:16

Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

For we are the temple of the living God, as God said:

I will dwell
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
—2 Corinthians 6:16

I’m humbled at the Creator of everything chose to dwell with us! He chose us knowing ahead of time how often we will fail! He loves us and calls us His own!

Good morning She’s, thankful that we don’t walk this life alone. He is with us and does not intend to leave. TODAY we celebrate our sweet coworker, Janet. She’s HOME and completely healed. Praying whatever said today will minister to the ears listening, especially those who don’t believe yet.

This week, the scripture that resonated with me was Isaiah 32:17, which emphasizes that righteousness leads to peace and enduring confidence. For me, righteousness signifies being aligned with God, and this verse reinforces the idea that when I’m right with Him, I experience lasting peace and unwavering confidence.

KELLY (NEO) and SEARCHING and my other sweet sisters… will let you know of anything new with Fred and Sharon, as I get info.

And, KELLY (NEO)… we successfully made the switch, but we did lose power at 6am when our water softener regenerated and both well pumps kicked on. Thankfully, we planned to stay “grid tied” so that we could use the grid if we needed to while we are working out the bugs. We’ll see what happens as we are learning.

Lord thank you for wanting to walk and dwell with us! I long for that day and the Garden City!

Ladies, thank you for your prayers about my dad’s upcoming surgery and the tension with my dad and sister. I know I shouldn’t be surprised because we serve an amazing God, but there was pleasant surprise! My dad’s surgery will be the afternoon on Tuesday. He needs to be at the hospital at 12:15 on Tuesday. This means my dad won’t need to stay at my sister’s house at all. Thank you all for praying!

“…you are the temple of the living God.

Believers individually are spiritual houses (cf. 5:1) in which the Spirit of Christ dwells (see notes on 1 Cor. 3:16, 17; 6:19, 20; Eph. 2:22).

As God has said. Paul supported his statement by referring to a blend of OT texts (Lev. 26:11, 12; Jer. 24:7; 31:33; Ezek. 37:26, 27; Hos. 2:2, 3.”
    John MacArthur Study Bible
My favorite of that list is Jeremiah 31:33 –

“I will put my teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

Thank You, God, our One and ONLY God, for loving us, protecting us, encouraging us, and never giving up on us. May we be as faithful!

    SEARCHING – ❤

Commenting on Tuesday’s Devo because I forgot to read it and then saved it for today. He could’ve taken the easy route, but he chose not to.
