I long for such a close relationship with God that I too like Mary recognize his voice. To be in such an intimate relationship and experiencing the purest of all loves is my current desire and what I thirst for.
“Mary” That’s all he had to say, and she knew exactly who he was. He could have shown up at any time and revealed his resurrection to anyone. But he chose Mary – a woman – as the first person to see him for herself. She was there, following him and listening to him throughout his ministry, and she was even there as he hung on the cross and died. She loved her Lord. What an honor to be the one he meets first.
