Luke 4:18–19

Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

We are committing to memory Luke 4:18–19. This week we will add the final portion of verse 18.

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me
to proclaim release to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to set free the oppressed,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
—Luke 4:18–19

Hello! It’s a while since I have posted-I was doing a different devotional this summer and then I was always getting “behind” in the Luke reading plan, but now I have caught up again.

Our house is looking more like a house. We just had 3 men from a church in the USA come over and help us drywall. They got one floor done and part of another (the one floor was difficult with angled ceiling). It was great. Now my husband and I will have to figure out the rest ourselves while also figuring out childcare. I would appreciate prayers as we don’t know what we are doing. Thank you!

      A. Walton, your comment is like a letter from home. how lovely to ‘see’ and hear of your news and how the house is going..
Keep trusting the Lord, and keep praising in the BIG and small, He is for sure building with you..
I will be praying for childcare and hope the right person comes alongside you in your need.
God bless you all and thank you for stopping by today..♥️
