Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
Now that we have memorized each verse in our key passage, spend some time putting it all together. Thank God for the joy and strength that He alone can provide in our testing and suffering we face.
2 Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
—James 1:2–4

Let the endurance have full effect so that we maybe mature and complete lacking nothing that really stood out to me. Thank the Lord that we even have moms that do so so much for us and love us like Jesus does❤️✝️
Happy Mothers Day ladies!
Happy Mother’s Day!❤️
Happy Sunday sweeties and Happy Mother’s Day to you all, for you sweeties who are expecting (I loved being pregnant) and those waiting for their miracle child! In many ways we are mom’s to many whether we know it or not. I woke up to the the sweet message from my friend Gretchen with pictures of us and the boys that made us MOM’s! I am SO blessed to have this journey of Motherhood with her and it has continue ALL these years!

I love the book of James. Such good teaching in a nutshell. I have enjoyed diving deeper into it.
Happy Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day ladies! Whether you are a Mama, waiting on God’s timing, or a mother figure, you matter. God sees you & the desires of your heart. He will answer your prayers in His perfect timing!
Amen
Mother’s Day can be the hardest of all holidays for some. Prayers for those women struggling with infertility, for those whose mom has passed, for those whose children have died, for those who struggle with relationships in these areas. Praying for all of you who find today hard. I’ve been there.
First Mother’s Day without my Mom and it’s not easy. Please pray as one of my sisters is alienating herself from the family due to my dad taking off his wedding ring and wanting companionship again. My parents were married 59 years and my dad is 83. I just want him to be happy again and for the family to stick together. Navigating life without my Mom has not been easy.
Amen!
Good Morning and Happy Mother’s Day sweet She’s! I get to go see my butterfly Stacey this morning and go to church together! She is in a different city about 45 minutes away, so I haven’t seen her in a few weeks! But she has been working at a sub shop and even has her own little room she rents! And zipping around on Ruth, the scooter we got for her, attending her meetings and apts with PO. She is doing good. Please remember her in your prayers. She is so dear and she loves God so much, and He is using her and her testimony. But there is a lot of pain with the separation of her two children. Many broken bridges with addiction.
I am praying for those that have their own sadness today with Mother’s day. I miss my own Madre that has been gone for many, many years now, but she is never that distant from my thoughts. She was so full of respectful love and gentleness. We almost lost her 14 years before her death to a close call brain anyursim, I was 8 months pregnant with my first (and only) child. I am so glad my son got to know his grandmother and the other cousins. She was so patient and caring with them. She loved playing chess and card games with all of us. But her faith was evident and wanting them all to know Jesus, to be with her in heaven one day. :) We got an extra 14 years with her when she went home in 2014. And that is when I started reading my Bible daily, because she was my role model. And yes, I have wisdom now…I can say that now! Because reading the word develops wisdom, and fear and reverence for the Lord! He is so good that when we seek Him we find. When we are eager to absorb from God, he reveals. When we are lost, he finds us, and when it seems dark, the light shines through!
It seems frustrating waiting for our own kids to come to know Jesus in a true impactful way, but I know it was a mother’s prayers that had God’s ear and he kept working things to bring me to Him. And our children will also!
The trials produce our need for a Savior. The more we endure the stronger our faith becomes.
Enjoy your day, sending hugs to all of you!
Our pastor said this morning – and we all know this- we can’t change hearts but we can keep sharing our faith and praying for God to change hearts. ❤
To those of you who dread Mother’s Day every year as it circles back on the calendar, know that you are lifted up. Whatever God’s will for the outcome of your desire for motherhood I pray you would know he sees you and he holds you close.
Happy Mother’s Day❤️
❤
Happy Mother’s Day. We run the race of dirty diapers, behaviour challenges, unknowns and failures. We continually open our hands to release our children , grandchildren, students, nieces & nephews to Gods care so that fear and anxiety do not win. May you be blessed today as you take time to bask in Gods goodness over your place in motherhood. Amidst some crazy or calm God will meet you and rejuvenate your spirit and mind.
Well said, Kerry! ❤
Psalm 19:7-11
“The instruction of the Lord is perfect,
renewing one’s life;
the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy,
making the inexperienced wise.
.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
making the heart glad;
the command of the Lord is radiant,
making the eyes light up.
.
The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever;
the ordinances of the Lord are reliable
and altogether righteous.
.
They are more desirable than gold—
than an abundance of pure gold;
and sweeter than honey,
which comes from the honeycomb.
.
In addition, Your servant is warned by them;
there is great reward in keeping them.”
.
Thanks be to God for the gift of scriptures to know who God is and know how to live His way.
.
May your time in gathered worship fill your hearts with peace today.
I love your Sunday Psalms, Kelly! ❤
I have enjoyed studying James with all of you. It’s one of my favorite books, and this time of looking at it closely has been special.
