Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.
Throughout this plan, we are memorizing Nehemiah 13:22b, a reminder of God’s heart towards us as we seek to obey Him. This week, memorize the second half.
Remember me for this also, my God, and look on me with compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love.
—Nehemiah 13:22b

What a beautiful prayer and I so need this today!
So thankful for God’s compassion. Id be lost without it. May God show me how to share his compassion with those around me. May He bring people into my life that need His love, and may He use me to love them.
This is a beautiful prayer, Megan. Thank you for sharing.
So thankful for His compassion and His faithful love.
my God, and look on me with compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love.

I am feeling like I need to own these words and make them my own, for these times and for this season..
.
My God, my dearest Father God, look on me, your Tina, with compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love..
Forgive me; Father God, where I have not been faithful to you and have walked in my own path.. be it known or unknown..
Lord God, asking as Nehemiah did, in our verse today, for your compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love for me..
My hope is only found in you..
.
Thank you Father God, in Jesus’s name..
.
BUT GOD..
.
HAPPY Sunday folk..
Much love.❤️
Amen! ❤️
An eloquent prayer we all could pray. Thank you for sharing, Tina!
Amen
So happy to be seen in Christ and know that He does indeed view me mercifully because of His sacrifice for me. I rest in that today
Happy Sunday sweeties!!
The context of he verse is that Nehemiah is asking the Lord to remember him with compassion because of his zeal for keeping the Sabbath. It’s something that easily becomes optional in our culture, isn’t it? But, as he did this, he appealed to God’s great love and compassion. Happy Sunday!
Yes, I meant to add that as well! I love his dedication for obedience.
❤️✝️
Amen!
What a comfort, peace and kindness to know how the Lord looks upon us. He offers so much more grace to us than we are to ourselves.
May our offerings of praise and hearts tuned to receive the teaching of His Word be transforming in our lives as we have opportunity to gather in fellowship and community on this Sunday. If that is not something you can do in person SRT sisters, praying you can find a way to have some moments of worship and perhaos an online message rooted in the Truth of God’s Word to spur you on and encourage your walk with Him.
‘Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.’ Psalm 63:3-4
Amen
Like Rhonda J. I’m reading some of the Scripture we rarely see in devotionals. We are going through Numbers in SS. The Israelites had seen wonderous miracles coming out of Egypt, yet they doubted that the same God would usher them into the Promised Land as He swore to Abraham.
“None of the men who have seen my glory and my signs that I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and yet have put me to the test these ten times and have not obeyed my voice, shall see the land that I swore to give to their fathers. And none of those who despised me shall see it.” Numbers 14:22-23
And they did not! Father please help us return to the ‘fear of the Lord’ which is the beginning of wisdom as Proverbs tell us! Amen.
Yes, it’s something we have to recognize and remind ourselves when we started going into our funk and complaining!! REMEMBERING Lord ALL You have done for me!! Thank you God! Build my faith and help me to stay on your path. It is good and perfect (not always through my eyes though!).
Thankful that God’s compassion for me doesn’t depend upin, but always exceeds any ‘good deed’ I can do.
.
Let’s honor our Lord today by seeking Him in worship- in spirit and in truth.
.
Biblegateway Verse of the Day:
1 Corinthians 2:14 (New Living Translation)
But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.

Love, hugs, and prayers! Thanks to any who may have seen my note last night and took a moment to pray. Other than not enough sleep, I feel okay. ❤ Praying no serious harm from the storm systems out there!
Thankful all ok! ❤️
Thanks,sis! ❤
That is a great verse when we are trying to understand the views of the secular. They can’t see, that is why we can’t judge them by our standards. We give them mercy and grace, just like Jesus!
I went looking for your name and a post right away! Glad all is well… besides the sleeping part. I totally get that.
❤ thanks for that, Adrienne. I know you understand insomnia!
GM, Happy Sunday!
I read through more of Nehemiah 13. It’s funny when you read the verses that you would never read in nice little daily devotionals.
Neh 13: 25 “I rebuked them, cursed them, and beat some of their men, and pulled out their hair!”
Lol. Not playing around that Nehemiah, and we shouldn’t either. God’s laws and order is set. We have lost the respect for it and do as we please. We don’t respect our parents much these days, teachers or policemen. How can we respect an invisible God?!
By knowing, reading, being all in. We can’t pick and choose parts we like of the Bible and ignore other parts. God did not want them to marry foreigners. For us, that means not to marry unbelievers. Do not be unyoked. It matters, and it is the rule. And I can attest like many more, that you would do good following because marriage is hard enough, when you are with a non-believer it puts strife in your relationship. How would you go to church? By yourself. And your kids, seeing a father that doesn’t believe in God? No bueno.
Got’s to go!! Have a great Sunday!
So true, Rhonda! So many (and I used ti be one) seek ‘encouragement for the day devos not realizing that a deeper true knowledge- the easy and the hard, lovely or convicting is what gives us encouragement! Praying your back survived that trio and your b’fly makes it to church. ❤
It did!! It did really good! I had to take some sitting breaks during worship this morning, but I am so glad I was able to get her. The house I dropped her at…now that, we need to pray for! She is required to attend their church that gives housing.
Glad to hear at least the travel went well. Praying good rest tonight brings some relief.
.
I guess that rule makes sense, but will keep that in mind. ❤
So many these days “pick and choose” and take things totally out of context too.
“Look on me with compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love.”
.
Oh how grateful I am that the Lord does indeed look upon me with compassion, because Jesus took upon Himself the punishment for my sin.
.
Praying Ephesians 3:16-19 over you Ladies
“I pray that he may grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power in your inner being through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, and to know Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Yesterdau I spent some time with a young mama (J) and her 8mo old boy who went through the support group last year. Life is getting harder, and she thinks she needs to get serious about God. She may come to church today. Please pray she follows through and the Lord captures her heart. Thank you.
Thanks so much for praying that verse over us, Kelly!
Praying this young woman follows through in seeking God. ❤

Thank you. Amen
Amain! ♥️ Praying for J and her baby boy.
One of my favorite sections of verses Kelly, that was read at my wedding and preached on by the Pastor! God’s love must be our foundation for all our relationships to flow from!
Thank you so much Kelly for praying that blessing over us!
Praying for young mama and son too.
❤️
Did J come to church today? Hope so!
No she did not make it…her dad needed her car.
