Hope, endurance and encouragement through the Word.

Thank you Father, that we have Scripture to know more of You. To learn Your heart, Your guidance, to lead us and show us Your Way and Truth. May we hide it deeply in our hearts, never take for granted the freedom and privilege to have the Bible in our hands. Increase our desire to read if often, frequently and daily to further equip us and live out the Truth, forgivenes and grace of a saving faith in our lives and in all that we do and say. Amen

Sunday Blessings SRT sisters. Thank you again for your prayers. ❤️

I’ll say it again, it surprising, shocking rather, how many professing Christians DON”T read the Bible themselves, except for maybe a daily devotional! I was there too, of course! Until that day…I realized if I wanted wisdom, and to know the Lord, that’s where it begins! That was in 2014, then I found SRT shortly after!

Nothing is better. There is no knowledge more beneficial. No relationship worth more. These are the nutrients for my health and growth and the living water to sustain me!! And the wisdom we find here through our She’s, their dedication to prayer, and love for the Lord is where you need to be!! So grateful for this special group/family that we are!! Let’s keep sharing more of our testimonies and how God is moving in our lives on the FB page!

Hugs this morning to all! I LOVE this study! It would be a good one to share with friends that need a good one to start a long with People of the OT! After all…Follow me….and TELL others!

@Wendy- thanks for the update and glad it went well!

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

What was written for our instruction! We can learn from the lives of others in the Bible! God uses His word to send us peace and comfort and encouragement!

He is good and His mercy endures forever!

    Praying for all!

Today “hope through endurance” stood out to me. Hope is not passive but a result of a sustained effort of learning about God through the Scriptures.
