Psalm 8:3-4

Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

For this plan, we are memorizing our key passage, Psalm 8:3–4. We will continue with the third line.

When I observe your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you set in place,
what is a human being that you remember him,
a son of man that you look after him?
—Psalm 8:3–4

Oh the majestic creation…how often do people observe. We are quite busy looking at our phones rather than looking around us in quiet. We are busy capturing moments rather than being in them. It always brings to mind “Sunday drives” after church growing up. “What are doing,” “where are we going,” we are just driving. Look there, look at that, can you believe .. Yep the three of us in the back seat of a Thunderbird picking on each other as my parents observed new trees, different landscapes.
I have always been a “nature” lover, looking and observing trees, flowers, birds. They have always overwhelmed me- Gods majestic creation. All the different creatures, countless and fascinating. God reveals His greatness, power, and Aw in his creation. The human body is enough to make us scratch our heads. Who could create such?

And one day every knee will bow before him. He is coming back soon. People get ready! The church will be caught up with him and come back with him. Until then..we praise and give him Glory for every day, every breath.

    When I observe YOUR heavens,
    the work of YOUR fingers,
    the moon and the stars,
And the people YOU set in place..
    .
I remember today, the beautiful girl you gifted to me for a while..
The one whose smile so radiant, my heart exploded each time she did.
The one whose presence in my world made it a better place to be, and whose lose, was a devastation to my soul..
    .
    BUT GOD..
    .
Majestic is His name in all the earth!
    .
    In my world too!
    .
For I have seen YOU set YOUR glory above the heavens..
    .
From the lips of my child, YOU ordained praise..
    And praise she did..
    .
You crowned her with glory and honour..
    .
So today, O LORD, our Lord, I will sing of how Majestic your name is in all the earth..
    .
And I will celebrate the gift you gave me, if only for a little while..
    .
Thank you Father God, Thank you. In Jesus’s name, I pray, in Thanksgiving,
    .
    AMEN..
    .

Precious Tina, I know your heart still hurts so much over the loss of your dear Julee. I certainly am familiar with the feeling of loss. When my heart hurts so much I remind myself of how blessed I was to have Jack in my life for as long as I did. Our Father God will carry us in our grief. ❤️
