Scripture is God breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
For this plan, we are memorizing our key passage, Psalm 8:3–4. We will continue with the third line.
When I observe your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you set in place,
what is a human being that you remember him,
a son of man that you look after him?
—Psalm 8:3–4

YOU’RE taking care of me. That’s what came to mind this morning. I am making it personal between me and my God. HE is taking care of me! In the NIV the last part of verse 3 reads, “human beings that you care for them?” I believe this promise and not letting go. Happy Sunday sweet She’s!
❤️
Can You Relate?
Tiny me.
A tremendous God.
My big problems.
A bigger God.
My feelings exposed.
He covers me.
My life a mess.
My God at His best.
My wits’ at end.
His kindness … where to begin…
He never sleeps.
He never slumbers.
LOVE it! Yep, that’s me as well.
Yes…good words. Thank you❤️
He created and formed the vastness and expanse that we look up and see, the beautiful creation surrounding us and with the same care and attention He created us. All praise to the greatness of our God and the mighty work of His hand. Again this week I think of the song, God of Wonders, but also the old hymn, His Eye is on the Sparrow, comes to mind as well. May our eyes take in and see the work of God’s hand today and our voices lift up praise to Him.
Yes, Amen Wendy B!
Good morning, ladies. I came here this morning (actually I am here every day) because I am unable to go to church. I am in the fourth week of excruciating pain due to a sciatic flare up. I’ve been to my medical Dr, chiropractor, and ER. Nothing seems to be helping. I’m on lots of medication and nothing seems to help. I am in waiting for PT which is two weeks away. I covet your prayers as my life is basically on hold. My oldest grandson graduates from college next weekend and I am so hoping to be there for this special occasion in his life. He has been a very meaningful part of my life.
Thank you.
Oh…how painful, Elaine. So sorry you are dealing with such awful pain. Have prayed right now❤️
Thank you, Wendy
Dear Elaine, I’m so sorry you are dealing with this pain! Praying for complete healing and relief! ❤️
Dear Indiana
A prayer for hope, help & healing.
Thank you, Gwineth52
I am sorry Indiana Elaine…sciatic pain IS excruciating! There are good stretches you can do to help a little, look them up. I know radiating pain and have worked with many with it. God, help this matter quickly, let it be controlled for next wkd!
Thank you,Rhonda J. I have been doing stretches for 3 years, faithfully. I was first treated for piriformis muscle. Did PT for 6 weeks, but continued the stretches. Nothing is working. The pain is shooting down my leg. If you have a miracle cure, I am interested!!❤️
Praying for you Indiana, for your pain to ease, upcoming PT and for you to be able to attend your grandson’s graduation.
Thank you, Mari V.
I’ve been praying for your court date as well.
Indiana Elaine – praying, sister! I’m convinced there is no pain like nerve pain :( Praying especially for medical & therapy teams and accuracy in evaluating source of pain ❤️
Thank you, Searching. You are so right about nerve pain!!
Praying Indiana Elaine !
I am reminded of Psalm 31:19a . . . How great is Your goodness which You have stored up for those who fear You . . . He has overflowing goodness for you all today!
Yes, indeed! Thank you Laurie Fouts.
YES, HE does!
“When consider the work of you hands”…I stand in awe.
Years ago I wrote a poem titled The Artist. It’s about the beauty of God’s creation & how He is an artist like no other. I have it “saved” somewhere but not sure how to find it, maybe one day it will pop up & I’ll share it.
I have imagined David writing this after having gazed at the night sky, leaning against a tree while watching over the sheep. Seeing the vast beauty of Gods creation – a sky filled with billions of stars, what a sight! ….after having that experience – what is man that you are mindful of him?
——
Happy Sunday She’s make you be blessed as you go into the “house of the Lord” today. ❤️
❤️
Yes, SJG!
Let us enter His court with praise.
I thought of David laying, looking up at the stars as well! I love the series House of David that portrays it so well. And his mother pouring out the majesty of God as they sing and talk of his greatness! WE should be doing the same! My grandmother was always talking of the flowers and birds. Oh how I want to pluck phones out of youngins hands! And adults.
Amen
“To Not Worship You” by Mercyme is a pretty fitting song.
Who am I to not worship You Lird?!
Have a lovely, blessed Sunday!
Great song!:)
Oh the majestic creation…how often do people observe. We are quite busy looking at our phones rather than looking around us in quiet. We are busy capturing moments rather than being in them. It always brings to mind “Sunday drives” after church growing up. “What are doing,” “where are we going,” we are just driving. Look there, look at that, can you believe .. Yep the three of us in the back seat of a Thunderbird picking on each other as my parents observed new trees, different landscapes.
I have always been a “nature” lover, looking and observing trees, flowers, birds. They have always overwhelmed me- Gods majestic creation. All the different creatures, countless and fascinating. God reveals His greatness, power, and Aw in his creation. The human body is enough to make us scratch our heads. Who could create such?
And one day every knee will bow before him. He is coming back soon. People get ready! The church will be caught up with him and come back with him. Until then..we praise and give him Glory for every day, every breath.
❤️
Ahhh – those Sunday drives! That was something Jeff & I did often when he was in Bible college – mostly because we had no money for anything else! But I cherish them to this day. Driving to places unknown, taking in the beauty… I miss those drives.
Yes…the Sunday drives :)
The fun part was on the way home there was a road that had big hills, and one big one that he would drive fast over and makes us scream and laugh! Ah..the memories!
Good morning sweet Rhonda! Your’re comment reminds me of the song by Crystal Lewis: “People Get Ready, Jesus is Comin”
❤️
Amen <3
When I observe YOUR heavens,
the work of YOUR fingers,
the moon and the stars,
And the people YOU set in place..
.
I remember today, the beautiful girl you gifted to me for a while..
The one whose smile so radiant, my heart exploded each time she did.
The one whose presence in my world made it a better place to be, and whose lose, was a devastation to my soul..
.
BUT GOD..
.
Majestic is His name in all the earth!
.
In my world too!
.
For I have seen YOU set YOUR glory above the heavens..
.
From the lips of my child, YOU ordained praise..
And praise she did..
.
You crowned her with glory and honour..
.
So today, O LORD, our Lord, I will sing of how Majestic your name is in all the earth..
.
And I will celebrate the gift you gave me, if only for a little while..
.
Thank you Father God, Thank you. In Jesus’s name, I pray, in Thanksgiving,
.
AMEN..
.
Happy Sunday, beloveds. Happy Sunday, covered in much celebratory love, and thankful prayers for all..♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Precious Tina, I know your heart still hurts so much over the loss of your dear Julee. I certainly am familiar with the feeling of loss. When my heart hurts so much I remind myself of how blessed I was to have Jack in my life for as long as I did. Our Father God will carry us in our grief. ❤️
