Weekly Truth

Open Your Bible

Romans 15:7

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

For this study we are memorizing our key verse, Romans 15:7. This week, we’ll memorize the second half.

Therefore welcome one another, just as Christ also welcomed you, to the glory of God.
—Romans 15:7

Heavenly Father, gracious Lord thank you that you welcome us. We come before with such gratitude for your love, mercy, grave, forgiveness and the gift of your Son, Jesus. I pray Lord for a heart that welcomes others as you have welcomed us. As we enter this Advent season, I pray Father that we would be a people that are avaliable and be a part of helping others welcome and make room for you in their lives. Amen

Thank you for praying for our family visit yesterday. We really had a nice visit. I can see that relationally hearts are softening in their immediate family and I believe that will lend itself to more open and meaningful opportunities for Truth filled conversations. The choices, lostness and brokeness is so evident but we are trusting and praying that God is at work and she will return to Him.

Praying, WENDY. I just saw your post from yesterday and am thankful it went well. Joining you in prayer that these softened hearts would open wide for God’s love and His gift of salvation.
