Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
For the first three weeks of this reading plan, we are memorizing our key verse for the book of Galatians. This week, we’ll continue with the second part.
I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
—Galatians 2:21

Happy Lord’s Day everyone! I have a WYATT update that I wanted to share. I held that sweet little boy in my lap this morning in the nursery at church while he drank a bottle and then cuddled up and fell asleep. Truly nothing anymore fulfilling than holding that miracle child! His mom says his chemo treatments are every Tuesday. He will have a scan in a week. If that scan is clear ( which we pray it is) he will get chemo every 3 weeks and his steroid doses will also decrease. He will still be on this maintenance schedule for a year, but with less meds and appointments. Your prayers are definitely being heard! Thank you, thank you! Our God is a God of miracles!
❤️❤️❤️
Hallelujah! Thanks for sharing! ❤
❤️
He died.
He is risen.
He will come again.
That’s the old, old story of Jesus & His love.
There’s nothing we can, or cannot do, that would ever displace or destroy His Promise.
❤️
Amen GWINETH52, Amen.❤️
That Christ died for nothing bit is heavy…. Like we really have to remember that and keep it in mind. There’s no works that makes us earn this .
Happy Sunday sweet She’s.
I didn’t get a chance to hop back on last evening and respond to any comments.
To MARI V I am so glad your first week went well. Being so tired is certainly understandable. I used to say to my team of teachers after the first week of teaching first graders that we teachers needed to build up our stamina to do a whole school day just like the kids do. Also, I one hundred percent agree with your thinking on original sin in kids! I always say that if anyone doubts we are born sinful creatures, they should spend time with the pre-schoolers at church. Plenty of sinful nature there!
To SARAH D Continuing to pray for you as you start your school year. And remembering you as you navigate this season of life. The young adult years can be so fun and exciting and adventurous, but also there are so many new things happening to you and you have so much future ahead of you to look forward to but also make decisions about. I love how you are relying on the Lord for your strength and guidance. Keep it up, sister!
Spending a quiet day today catching up and praying and soaking in God’s Word. Love it!
I opened up comments after reading this mornings verse and your comment was the FIRST! Thank you. You brought a smile to my face as soon as I saw my name on your comment. THANK YOU!! And I couldn’t stop laughing about spending time with pre-schoolers at Church! SO True! Sigh….I see it already in these four-year-old’s. Please pray I can take that “pause” and “deep-breath” as sometimes my patience can wear down quickly. MANY and I mean MANY teachers/staff/friends/and even parents have said, “I don’t know how you do it” I smile and say to myself, “it’s ALL JESUS!” BUT please do pray for me as we do have a couple of stinkers that have gotten under my skin. I spent this weekend praying for them and myself. I want them to see JESUS and not a mean teacher.
I’ve got one or two that are gonna be challenging this year. (At least I think so. They may settle down after they figure out what they can’t get away with!) I have a cup on my desk that says, “Don’t make me use my teacher voice.” I hope my littles see Jesus in me too.
Laura, thank you so much!! And haha I have said the same thing about original sin…I teach Pre-K so I understand that 100%!! The Lord uses it to teach me how we are all so broken , and we need him!!
Anyone with a child knows this as well! lol.
Father that I always come to Your throne of Grace and Mercy first. In Jesus name, Amen
So thankful that we are not under the law! Thankful for God’s grace and mercy!
This song by Brandon Lake – Gratitude
All my words fall short
I got nothing new
How could I express
All my gratitude?
I could sing these songs
As I often do
But every song must end
And You never do
So I throw up my hands
And praise You again and again
‘Cause all that I have is a hallelujah
Hallelujah
And I know it’s not much
But I’ve nothing else fit for a King
Except for a heart singing hallelujah
Hallelujah
I’ve got one response
I’ve got just one move
With my arm stretched wide
I will worship You
So I throw up my hands
And praise You again and again
‘Cause all that I have is a hallelujah
Hallelujah
And I know it’s not much
But I’ve nothing else fit for a King
Except for a heart singing hallelujah
Hallelujah
So come on, my soul
Oh, don’t you get shy on me
Lift up your song
‘Cause you’ve got a lion inside of those lungs
Get up and praise the Lord
Oh come on, my soul
Oh, don’t you get shy on me
Lift up your song
‘Cause you’ve got a lion inside of those lungs
Get up and praise the Lord
Come on, my soul
Oh, don’t you get shy on me
Lift up your song
‘Cause you’ve got a lion inside of those lungs
Get up and praise the Lord, hey
Praise the Lord
Praise the Lord
Praise the Lord
So I throw up my hands
Praise You again and again
‘Cause all that I have is a hallelujah
Hallelujah
And I know it’s not much
But I’ve nothing else fit for a King
Except for a heart singing hallelujah
Hallelujah

One of my favorites! ❤
Beautiful song, I love it.❤️
Good Morning She’s, Happy Sunday!
Hope you all have a beautiful day and can get to church to praise the Lord with other believers!! It is wonderous for the soul! Did He die for nothing, no way…I will praise my Saviour and show my gratitude in loving worship!
“for if righteousness comes through the law”…
My first reaction to that this morning- if … then I am sunk! Thank God for GRACE. Thank God for the sacrificial blood if Jesus! Father help us to remember as we worship today that it’s not religion; it’s a relationship.
~
Romans 5:18 (NLT)
Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.
~
Lifting you all in prayer. ❤
Even if I could have kept every part of God’s Law, my heart would still condemn me as an enemy of the Lord. This is what the religous leaders who opposed Jesus could not understand.
.
Psalm 57:7-11
“My heart is confident, God, my heart is confident.
I will sing; I will sing praises.
Wake up, my soul!
Wake up, harp and lyre!
I will wake up the dawn.
I will praise you, Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing praises to you among the nations.
For your faithful love is as high as the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches the clouds.
God, be exalted above the heavens;
let your glory be over the whole earth.”
.
Worship Him with others in person today.
❤ Well said, Kelly!
A double Amen to that Kelly..❤️
Hi Shes,
I have been a silent sister since 2015. I am 25 years old. My mom has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, which is terminal. I am out of the country, and it is very hard for me, but I try to see her at least once a month. She is doing great; the chemos are actually improving some symptoms that the cancer has brought up, but this process is very difficult physically and mentally for my whole family. My dad is having a very hard time; he went through this with his sister, and he thinks he will not be able to live without my mom. I know that if my mom dies, I will miss her so much but she will be happier and better on God’s side, but I do not want her to suffer while she is here. I am scared, and I ask for your prayers. I know that everything will be God’s will and that it is for the best, but my family will need His strength and the Holy Spirit to go through all of this.
Oh, Wendy. That’s rough. Prayers, indeed! ❤️
Oh Wendy, I am sorry your family are going through this.. will pray for you all to know God peace and thst you hold fast to Him in all circumstances.. He is near to those who call on Him.. He is near to you and yours..
Much love Wendy, stay strong and courageous and trust Him..❤️
Praying for God’s peace and strength for all of you Wendy❤️
Wendy, thank you for letting us join you in prayer for your mom and your family. May you all have peace in the storm.

Oh, Wendy, what a heavy burden! Thank you for coming here and sharing your heart! I pray you will remain strong through this ordeal. I pray for healing for your mom and I pray for your dad’s heart, and I pray for strength and peace for you as you minister to your mom. Are you on the SRT SHE’S Facebook page? You would have lots of support there, too. It’s a private page. Love and hugs! ❤❤
