2 Corinthians 5:17

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.

For the last three weeks of this plan, we’ll memorize our second key verse, 2 Corinthians 5:17. This week, we’ll memorize the second part of 2 Corinthians 5:17, the joyful proclamation that God’s work to make all things new is present here and now.

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!
—2 Corinthians 5:17

Thank you @Searching for your prayers!! ♥️

@Sarah D- yay!! Happy you got your 5k goal met!! Praise God. I definitely love that verse in relation to running our race. I’m sure @Mari V thinks of it often, too while running ;)

At church today, the minister titled his message, “Jesus is coming again.” I was, like, “Yeah, you right!” He went on to say that we believe in the imminent return of Jesus. (Many people say it is not bad enough yet.) I say…. “Come, Lord Jesus!”

However, I remember Pastor Jack Hibbs (I think), saying on a podcast once, “Aren’t you glad that He didn’t come back before you were saved?” Yes and ouch! We have so many others to reach out to with His message of salvation!

The NEW has come! Thank you Jesus! Its cold and rainy here in SUNNY California. Not my favorite, however we need the rain. I need the motivation to get up, and dress for church. Not looking forward to the errands I have to run afterwards in the rain, but oh well, I need to do it as it involves a delicious soup that I will make for my family and it certainly fits the weather today. Happy Sunday sweet She’s!

CHERYL BLOW… a small group of us memorized Philippians a few years ago. (The first three chapters were easier than the last one! The end of the book was such a struggle I think I need to get back to that!) That is one of my fave verses. I agree with you that it is difficult to find ourselves in the “not yet”, but I also agree with you that we have a promise from Him… it’s coming!

Have a blessed Sunday, sweet She’s!
