Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
This week, continue working on memorizing our key verse for this plan.
Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
—1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

Happy Sunday! Praying for requests mentioned here.

Happy Sunday! This weekend has been crazy! Praying for you all today. @MERCY – praying for you and your new side hustle! As somebody who also longs to start a consistent side hustle understand your fears!! I don’t think God would put it on your heart if you weren’t meant to peruse it! Keep going ❤️
♥️
Thank you God for another opportunity to give you thanks and praise. Thank you God for all your promises to us and for your perfect provision at all times. Thank you for all these ladies of SRT!!
Hope everyone had a good wkd. Prayers for the specific requests and for all as we go through this week!
In my group yesterday we talked about how to keep the Christmas season in perspective, keeping Christ in the center! It’s hard not to spend lots of money, but trying to focus on more special activities or traditions is a big help. Down scale your decorations, baking, and buying presents and up your time in prayer and praising the Lord! You will be blessed, and probably your family as well! I put up lights today, and that is almost enough for me! Like Molly said, it’s wonderful to see the warmth the lights bring, and I always remember that they are representing the LIGHT OF THE WORLD, Jesus Christ being born…FOR US! YOu and me, and I want to be the light here on earth, pointing to Jesus, always and in everything I do! (I’m not perfect obviously!) Love you Sisters!
Does the advent study start tomorrow??!!! Hope to see lots of new people tomorrow if so!! And maybe some of our friends we miss!! :))

In the message at church today… be thankful IN all circumstances… not thankful FOR them. I have heard this a few times this week… a good lesson in semantics for me!
I know it is still just afternoon for many of us, but enjoy sweet rest tonight, sweet sisters!
Good morning, Shes! It is Monday morning on my side of the world (Hong Kong) and still dark outside, it soothes me to know that it is God’s will for us to rejoice and be thankful. I sometimes find myself ruminating in shame, guilt, lack and what-ifs, and this verse knocks me out of that state. So grateful! May I ask for prayers for my sleep? It has been restless lately, and disrupted sleep significantly affects my well-being. Thanks, and I hope you all have a lovely week ahead!
Another thing that came to mind regarding our Weekly Verse, and I’m going to piggyback on Cee Gee’s comment. Churchmouse’s comment (from a while back) to this verse, and I wrote it down and have it taped to my bathroom side mirror commented: “Rejoicing. Praying. Thanking. Does my face, my words, and my actions get evidence of these”. We miss you, Churchmouse.

God’s will for us. That’s the only place I’m striving to be as I don’t want be anywhere else. Life’s experiences and hardships have got me to this place, and that’s OK. I’m just glad I’m here. And I’ve said this before, I may not have everything, but I have everything I need. @Searching thank you for your faithful prayers and all of you for praying. When I came to live here at my moms a little over six years ago, (left a verbally and emotionally abusive husband) even though this home is a safe haven, I’m realizing my mom and I should’ve set some boundaries. Nothing horrible is happening. It’s still a very safe place and we are happy here, but I’m grown now VERY grown (middle aged), and my mothers, is more old-school Mexican traditions and then add a teenager to the mix (my daughter). I have to chuckle a little bit as even our pets (our cat, and my moms dog) are females. My poor son. And currently, my brother is here until he and his family find a home. (His cute little doggie is here and she’s a female) The boys extend lots of grace for us girls. Our Weekly Verse so perfect for today. I will rejoice, I would definitely continue to pray, and I will be thankful for my current circumstances. Like I said, in the beginning, I don’t want to be anywhere else, but here with Jesus, and all of you here.
We have a break from homeschool/co op this week and I am loving the no lesson planning. The kids and I “decked the halls” while my husband was a work yesterday, so I was up in the darkness this morning basking in the glow of the many twinkle lights. And we have had some amazing weather here in the PNW, so with an almost full moon also shining its light in the window on a perfectly clear, cold morning I am resting fully and thanking God for the simplicity of this time of year. I have spent years cultivating calm and quiet for us as a family during this time and it’s beginning to pay off. My husband will have worked all but 3 calendar days in November and Dec 1st will be the beginning of his first weekend off in a month. We are all looking forward to the rest and togetherness!
Praying for the many requests and thanking God for the mornings with you. Have a great Sunday, Shes!
Rejoice always, praying to know and be in God’s will.
CEE GEE – thank you for the memorization help with this verse! And joining you in praise for the replaced stove. You may not have rested as planned yesterday, but stove concern that may have been hovering in the back of your mind is gone :)
LYNNE FROM AL – praying for little Banks, that seizures will stop and successful treatment continue
MERCY – praying for your uncle’s health, and healing of marriage stress. Also praying for wisdom and guidance in side business. Great advice from CEE GEE and RHONDA J – dream big and start small, and seek out other sisters here with experience. My 2 cents is to avoid or limit fixed/recurring costs (rent, online store fees, outside services, commissions, etc) as much as feasible.
MARI V – praying for jobs for B & SIL, and relationship with mom
GRAMSIESUE- praying for you, Steve and the medical team ❤️
STACY BARBEAU – praying for peace, strength and patience as you raise these sweet children. Is there a mom’s day out program in your area that might be available?
AIMEE D-R – healing for dad
ASHLEIGH PRUETT – healing from sciatica
A WALTON – praying for energy, rejuvenation, your mind be filled with thankfulness and praise as you interact with others while in US
MUNCHKIN – relief from anxiety
Good morning sisters, I’m just catching up on our readings, as I’ve had six houseguests since Wednesday, four were children. One thing I noticed from day 12’s reading was David’s prayer, how much it is like The Lord’s Prayer. I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving and lifting each as I read requests. This is definitely a time of year where rest is challenging. May your day be filled with peace and may the Lord guide your coming week. I am very thankful for each of you.
Thank you, CEEGEE, for your break down of this verse… it will help me with my memorization this week. And did you notice the order, sweet she’s?… rejoice THEN pray (and not the other way around!)… so good!
Guess I need to rejoice in the snow out my window… but blek!
Praise you Lord. Please heal my Dad. Thank you for always hearing my prayers. In Jesus name, Amen
Would you please pray for me? My sciatica was doing better but I’ve woken up this morning pretty bad. Please pray for pain relief and healing. I’m so worn down and anxious.
Praying for all of you!
We always are seeking for God’s will in our lives. This is a very clear direction we can take. Giving thanks in all things. I need to just stay on this one for awhile!
Have a great Sunday!
Amen
Hello! My family and I made it safely to the USA and have been traveling around. I have been very overwhelmed in all of our travels and feeling unprepared as we meet with many people. Not knowing something positive to say when I am feeling so tired and burnt out myself. I haven’t been able to get over jet lag (twins and my own nerves are my excuses)- it will be a week tomorrow. I would appreciate prayers. Thanks.
LOLLY REGAN- Stepping out in faith to follow God doesn’t mean that life will be easy. So sorry it has been overwhelmingly hard recently. Praying you feel God’s comfort, assurance and see his hand at this time.

Prayers going up for each SHE. ❤

LYNNE FROM ALABAMA – Continued prayers for you, Jack, Banks, and Gina! ❤
GRAMIESUE – I hate that you and Steve have been in such a hard place for so long! At least it sounds like they are zeroing in on the base of that infection. Your post of thankfulness in all of your struggle is such a testimony, sweet sister! Sending you a warm hug across the miles and prayers for the upcoming tests, the ones performing and reading the tests, wisdom for the doctors, and for you and Steve in making decisions.
MERCY – I have never ventured to do what you are doing, but my daughter in law has had a successful small business for several years, praise God. Dream big but start small. ☺ You will find your niche. Be patient with yourself and with the response you get. It may take a while for folks to ‘find you’. You know we will keep you covered in prayer and God knows those needs even if we don’t read about them here. Daughter in law uses IG to showcase her products if that helps you. ❤
Amen
Psalm 100
1 Let the whole earth shout triumphantly to the Lord!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Acknowledge that the Lord is God.
He made us, and we are his—
his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good, and his faithful love endures forever;
his faithfulness, through all generations.
GRAMSIESUE – praying for you and Steve to take one day, one moment at a time. Don’t get ahead of the Lord. Lean in to His peace and comfort.
LYNN FROM AL – thanks for the update on Gina. Praying for Banks and his family.
SEARCHING – praying for your friend’s daughter to stay well enough for the surgery.
STACY BARBEAU – praying the Lord will settle your heart and give you peace as you move forward in your calling as a mama
My anxiety has been up lately. I feel as if I can’t do anything right. I know this is not from God. As I go through the week, please pray for me, that my anxiety ebb, that my eyes stay on the protector. I really appreciate it.
I’m praying for you.
Praying for you! Just rest in God’s love for you
Hallelujah! Amen. Let it be so in us, LORD.
