Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.
For this study we have worked to memorize Judges 2:11–12a. Spend some time reviewing the whole passage. As you do, remember the weight of Israel’s sin and rebellion, reflecting on how our sin carries the same destructive power in our lives.
11 The Israelites did what was evil in the LORD’s sight. They worshiped the Baals 12 and abandoned the LORD, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt.
—Judges 2:11–12a
Happy Sunday, I am visiting my daughter in MT & we attended a church my church planted! The pastor at the end of service said to his members to honor me as I am from their parent church. I immediately stood up & said pray for me as I am fighting a terrible disease. He asked if they could pray for me so I almost ran to the front & then whole church surrounded me in prayer! What a blessing!
