Judges 2:11-12

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.

As we read, we will memorize Judges 2:11–12a, verses that illustrate the repeating cycle of sin seen in the book of Judges.

We’ll start by memorizing part of verse 11.

11 The Israelites did what was evil in the Lord’s sight. They worshiped the Baals 12 and abandoned the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt.
—Judges 2:11–12a

CHELSY, I just wanted to say that I’ve been where you are, crippled by migraine headaches and it was so hard! I’m praying for you and hope that there is an end to your headaches, and that you lean into the Lord during this tough time. You can do it mama, your kids will be stronger watching you deal with struggles and pain while relying on God to get you though.

    HAPPY Sunday ☀️ sweet She’s!
I posted early yesterday morning, but I must’ve not hit “post“. @ MICHELLE PATIRE and ALL my beautiful, sweet sisters. My daughter and I had a nice trip to Santa Clara University. We did great time as we left quite early. We talked the entire time it was nice to leave early while it was still dark and experience, watching the sunrise together, even though I was driving. She got so much good information and was quite pleased with the University. It’s a gorgeous campus! Her plans are to attend a JC for two years and then make a transfer. My prayers for my daughter, if she does decides to attend there (in about two years) that, in the meantime her faith in Jesus will grow stronger, as this university is not a Christian college. she did tell me on our trip back home that she already looked up Christian churches in the area. That made my mama’s heart glad. i’m grateful dead for now the next two years, she can just build a stronger faith in Christ. We were able to see the pre-law building as that’s what she’s interested in. Please pray for her heart. In tears she was telling me last night that, she doesn’t feel supported by a couple of her peers, and she knows that all it matters is what Jesus wants from her and that she has mine and her brothers support.

Ladies, My Steve is having a rough weekend filled with pain. If is awful! His next MRI isn’t until November 14 so we won’t know if the tumor is growing back until then. But the pain is in his feet, hands and lower back. Extreme pain! He is miserable. We have and appointment tomorrow to get it checked out but we both just had a moment where he cried, I held him and cried…
He is such a strong man but this is too much for him. I am so sad to see him in such misery.
Please pray for some answers and relief .
    Hugs to all ❤️

  23. Karen Kilduff says:

Happy Sunday She’s. I have been doing these studies for several years now and I LOVE them!!! But I’ve never followed along with the comment section. And I feel like something is missing, so here I am, hoping to get more out of this through you beautiful ladies.

I got baptized over 10 yeas ago and have been studying the Bible ever since, however I still feel like a baby Christian. I don’t understand the Old Testament books very much, and I deeply desire too.

God Bless Everyone of you, this community will be in my daily prayers.

  24. Cheryl Blow says:

So that God is always reaching for us to love us and redeem us!

Linda praying for you as you and your husband are getting settled.

  25. Cee Gee says:

LINDA IN NC – You have been on my heart and I am so happy to hear from you! I have missed you, too, and thankful things are settling down! Continued prayers for your husband’s confusion. Thanks for checking in and have a blessed Sunday! ❤

  26. Cee Gee says:

As I looked at verse 11, I did a “fill in the blank” with my name as the subject and will be pondering the “sin blank” today. But, then I reflected on the verse from yesterday!
    How joyful is the one
    whose transgression is forgiven,
    whose sin is covered!
How joyful is a person whom
the LORD does not charge with iniquity
and in whose spirit is no deceit!
    —Psalm 32:1–2
My transgressions (in the blank) are FORGIVEN!
My sin (in the blank) is COVERED!
There is NO CHARGE against me! Thanks to Jesus for the blood that was shed for me!

    KELLY, right back atcha, sister!

    SEARCHING – ❤

MICHELLE – As I have mentioned before, our33 year old son lives with us and I know that he, at times, would rather have his own space. We give each other space as much as possible and don’t rub each other the wrong way (most of the time!) You have several ADULT personalities under one roof! Praying for supernatural grace from you and toward you as you continue to learn from each other and how to mingle together. Praying against any promotion of bitterness and confusion. ❤

Prayers, love, and hugs, SHE sisters!

  27. Linda in NC says:

Blessed Sunday!! It’s been quite busy the last two months with downsizing & moving. We’re just about settled. Since we sold our car this week things should settle into a routine this week. My sweet hubby has been happy with our independent living apt, but his confusion is worse. Prayers please that getting into a settled routine will help.
So many answered prayers & miracles…just praising our Lord for His grace, mercy & goodness! I have missed being all of you. Feel as if I’ve missed so much!
Judges, though a sad commentary on God’s people then and now, has always been a comfort to me. God is so patient, so willing to act on our behalf when we cry out to Him in repentance. He always uses imperfect people to accomplish great things according to His perfect will, even when are hesitant! “Who me??”. ❤

  28. Kelly (NEO) says:

Let’s join with David today and, “thank the Lord for his righteousness; . . . [and] sing about the name of the Lord Most High” (Ps. 7:17).

Thankful for each of you and the gifts you are to this community.

  29. Tina says:

Playing catch up in prayers for all today..

STORI, Welcome hugs coming to you from across yhe pond. ❤️

AMBERLENE,, I am so very sorry that you feel your life is a tragedy. YOU are a precious and most loved Daughter of the Most High God. In God’s eyes, there is NOTHING tragic about you, only perfection, made in His image. There is much I want to say, but most importantly is thst you are loved and that He, God, has an amazing plan for your life, just hold on to Him, in these moments and He will meet you in them, comforting and loving you back to His Daughter, made totally and absolutely made in His image..
Sending you hope filled love and hugs..❤️

EMILY KANA, Praying that feeling of “not worthy” to be a woman of God, off you. Because, YOU already are a woman of God. There is nothing you need do, but be in a relationship with Him, and He takes care of the rest.
Trust Him, hold fast to Him, and, He, God, will show you who He is and why you need do nothing!
