Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.
During this study, we have memorized Psalm 27:7–8. Take time to review the entire passage, celebrating that we have a God who hears and answers us when we seek Him.
7 LORD, hear my voice when I call;
be gracious to me and answer me.
8 My heart says this about you:
“Seek his face.”
LORD, I will seek your face.
—Psalm 27:7–8

Just finished this series. I look forward the the summer Psalm reading plan. Thank God for that book and it’s many revelations and for SRT ministry
Thank you SRT for this wonderful study. I have been here every day praying and praising right along all of the Sisters who meet here together. ❤️
This was great. I didn’t start when the community started but I’m glad I started and finished it. The psalms have always been a favorite. This plan was just great. I will definitely be sharing this.
♥️
I absolutely loved this study. It’s really helped me learn how to use the Psalms to pray
Praises go up and blessings come down. Thank you Father.
AMEN, SEARCHING! Exactly what I have learned after years of questioning! KNOWING His plan is eternal and TRUSTING He is working everything out for His glory and a bigger good has been the biggest balm to my soul. It still feels like losing good ground sometimes, but I don’t question any more. Thanks for your most excellent encouragement!!! I hope others are blessed by us older kids!
RHONDA J – AWEsome report and what good preaching you heard today! Too good not to post twice!
Oh Searching! SO good, I had to copy your comment to save! Preach! Exactly. We have so many questions on the why, why this, why that…why is it happening like this, or like that!
Church WAS perfect! The perfect message God wanted to speak into me and my son and grandson! The most relevant sentence…”we will all stand before our God one day and account for our life!” -boom. God gives us grace…but expects us to…”go and sin no more,” as he told the adulterous lady after everyone left. We can’t leave that part out. Yes, there is grace for ours and everyone else’s mistakes, but it is not an excuse to stay in that place of sin. And also, that the bible still remains the standard for the world, no matter what the culture of the world says. We can’t believe some parts, or just hand pick what we like. God’s word is THE ONE and ONLY standard that we are going to be accountable for, alone, not compared to anyone else.
Sorry to post twice…But…there are so few comments I went ahead! Love ya’ll! (I should have done an alias name!lol)
Loved this study so much and how it’s shown me how to use the Psalms to pray when I might not have the words. What a great resource God has given us!
FOSTER MAMA & CEE GEE – “what appears to us as wasted time” “why time is being wasted”
I hear y’all!! But remember, dear sisters (and me too!), that always in our waiting (as we tap our feet, look at our watches/calendars, breathe those deep sighs, scream out our frustrations, explain to Him why our plan is better than whatever His may look like, decide He is doing nothing and so it is time to take matters into our own hands), GOD IS WORKING. Even if . . . we don’t see the point, we don’t see a way out, we can’t see any way that even God Himself can turn things around, we don’t understand why, why, why or how, how, how God could allow This Thing – This Very Thing We Fervently Prayed Against – to happen (or prayed for and it doesn’t happen/hasn’t happened yet) – remember that He still loves us, wants His very best for us, has a perfect plan for our lives, is working somewhere somehow on our behalf, and it will ultimately be for His Glory, that others will see how He has worked in our lives, how we have leaned on Him no matter what, how He rescued us and drew us back to Him after we lost our way – so that others will come to know Him through our journey.
Amen
MARI V – Prayers for safety in travel!
FOSTER MAMA – I am there with you in lamenting what appears to us as wasted time especially now that I am knocking on 70!
RHONDA J – Amen, sister! Praying for a good outcome with church today!
Thank you, SRT, for this powerful study!
@ SEARCHING – ❤️❤️❤️
Trying to remind myself not to worry about any aches in my heart, no matter how deep and “I wish ____ had been different” and shoulda coulda wouldas! God is good and His timing (big breath)…is perfect, even when I can’t understand why time is being wasted.
Have a blessed week Sisters!!
WOW! I really could have spent even longer in the Psalms…SUCH well-chosen Psalms this time, oh my soul!
Happy back-to-school for those starting after Labour Day.
GREAT study!! Though I missed a few days of commenting. I didn’t miss a day of gettin the WORD with all of you. Grateful that our Farther God hears us when we call. Even when we can’t hear Him, He hears us. Sometimes the weight and noise of our circumstances gets in the way, BUT remember HE promises never to leave us forsake us. HAPPY SUNDAY sweet She’s. We had a wonderful short getaway for my nieces wedding. Prayers are appreciated as I drive by myself to the Sacramento International airport to drop off her parents.
Lord I will seek His face, amen and amen!
Yours is the Kingdom
Yours is the Glory
Praise the Father, Praise the Son, Praise the Spirit three in one!
God of Glory, Majesty. For He is Holy. The true north star, the Cornerstone! I just want more of you Father God. This world is truly lacking in all it looks to, in it’s enjoyment and consumption, and time spent. I need you Lord, I need you. Come Holy Spirit, come.
Have a wonderful Sunday Sabbath! Let your light shine for the Lord today!
Knock and He will answer! Seek and you will Find. Ask and You will receive!
Amen!
Amen!✨✨✨
Amen

Thank you all for walking through this study with me. The deep truths remind us how constant God’s love is for us and how we need to keep our eyes fixed on Him regardless of how we’re feeling. ❤️
Isaiah 49:13, “Shout for joy, you heavens!
Earth, rejoice!
Mountains break into joyful shouts!
For the Lord has comforted his people,
and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.”
Let’s join creation in praise to the Almighty God and Jesus the Son for Their comfort through the Spirit!
God hears our prayers and answers from Heaven
