Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
This week we’ll add our final verse as we memorize Romans 3:22–24, remembering that it is only by God’s grace that we can experience the redemption of Jesus.
22 The righteousness of God is through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe, since there is no distinction. 23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; 24 they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
—Romans 3:22–24

KATIE ISAAC – Amen!
TRAIA LANDRUM – CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your son! God bless you as you recover from the c-section. Praying for both of you.
Traia – praying for tou and baby as you recover. I had a c section last year as well and recovery is tough.
Dear Traia, congratulations on your new little one. Blessings on your family.
Good afternoon She’s. So grateful for today’s passage—I am reminded of the goodness of the grace of our Lord. I just had a son 1.5 weeks ago, and had to have a c-section due to fetal distress. So I’m learning how to let others help me and having to sit a lot. I am reminded that even though I don’t feel like I am enough bc I cannot do much yet, God’s grace is sufficient for me. And it is my joy to sit here and pray for you all ❤️ God bless you today ladies
My whole life I have focused on Romans 3:23 (“all have sinned and fall short…”) but never focused on the next verse, which says we are “justified freely!”
@Searching. Thank you for praying for me. I’ve been praying for God to give me wisdom. I got a couple of sympathy cards that will be passed out throughout the campus tomorrow.
I am a sinner, saved by grace. Thank you, Jesus! Happy Sunday sweet She’s. Enjoy your places of worship this morning.
They are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus! Justified freely just keeps jumping out to me! Oh what a gracious God we serve! So thankful for His grace!
All have sinned (past tense) and fall short {to be in want of, to lack} (present passive tense) of the glory of God. That’s a lot of parentheticals! Not sure I’ve ever been convicted by grammar before :P Even without trying, I will continue to fall short of the glory of God. BUT GOD!! The next phrase “They are justified freely by His grace” implies both a past action, an on-going action AND a future action. Praises be. If I am going to continually fall short of the mark, then how sweet it is to know that there is already grace waiting for just that moment. Praying for you ladies!
Thank you, Lord, for my redemption in Christ Jesus!
Praying for a peaceful and rejuvenating day for each of us.
Praying for:
MARI V – you and your classroom’s teacher, as you work alongside her as she grieves her mom, and as the two of you teach and mold these young minds.
KRISTEN – healing for Jan
LYNNE FROM AL – wisdom and peace for the reversal decision ❤️
HEATHER LANDERS – for your husband, you and your daughter. I echo the fervent prayers of my sisters here. Their prayers yesterday were moving as I read through them, saying Amen! Praying that your husband made the choice for the long term faith based rehab starting today rather than stay where he is. I can only imagine that he likely feels defeated in looking at where his choices have brought him to this point, and praying that he would feel the spark of hope in his heart and mind that faith in Christ will bring. Hard work ahead for him, praying he holds on to the strength of the Lord moving forward.
THERESA NELSON – safe travels, and calm confidence in your teaching
CANDACE SMITH – for your BIL and sister, a diagnosis, and healing for him from burns and whatever is causing him to pass out
Amen
Amen and hallelujah!
Good Sunday Morning She’s!
Thank you Lord for this community of your daughters that come together to read your word, to pray and lift one another up to your promises Lord. May you grant each one your loving peace and generosity, your goodness and life everlasting. We humbly give you our weaknesses, our trials and troubles, and burdens to free us from all bondage. May the evil one flee with the name of Jesus. Comfort and strengthen those in need today. Let us, as your faithful ones, rise above the enemies footholds in all areas of our lives. We want only you Lord and repent for those things in our lives that don’t line up with you. Be with our Sister Heather Lord, in this seemingly impossible situation, yet nothing is impossible with you! You know all, and know right where she is in this struggle. Comfort her weary heart and let her feel your strength. Give her the know-how of what to do, give people around her to rally and be a shield against any harm, physical or emotional. Be with her daughter, and guard her tender heart. We ask all this in your holy son Jesus’ name. Amen.
Amen
Happy Sunday! May you all experience a solid time of rest today!
THERESA NELSON – safe travels
