1 Chronicles 29:11-13

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.

This week we will commit to memory David’s prayer of blessing in 1 Chronicles 29:11–13. Give God thanks and praise as you meditate on and memorize verse 13.

Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to you. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom, and you are exalted as head over all. Riches and honor come from you, and you are the ruler of everything. Power and might are in your hand, and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all. Now therefore, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name.
—1 Chronicles 29:11–13

@Tina thank you so much for the prayers! They’re greatly appreciated. I pray for for you during this season as well! @Adrienne praying for you! It seems things always pile on at once. Hang in there. Happy Sunday ladies! I am so late to the game today. I spent the weekend with my parents and it was so nice. My dad and I made me a new kitchen table which turned out great. My grandpas were both carpenters so it’s such a blessing my dad can teach me. Hopefully I can give this table to my kids one day. Or even teach them all my dad has taught me. My goal is to be able to sell my furniture creations one day consistently. I hope it’s the start to a great week for everybody.

@Tami C, praying. The message at church today was about burning bridges. The pastor was talking about burning bridges of pride and fear. Some bridges need to go with the help of God. I know I struggle with fear. Praying for you to have peace and not listen to the what ifs. The sermon is at maog.org if you want to listen. He reminded us of Psalm 23. God bless you and all the ladies. Prayers for you all. I’m not sure exactly what’s happening with Adrienne, but praying too.

Happy Sunday ladies! May I humbly ask for prayer for my husband Rich. He went for a cardiac work up which included a CTScan of his chest. Praise the Lord his heart is fine! They did however see a nodule on his lung that they want him to follow up with. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated for this to be NOTHING! And for peace for me because my mind tends to go to the what ifs… thank you ladies:)

  10. Mandi D says:

Michelle Patire, thank you for those reminders, I really needed to read that this morning.

  11. Dorothy says:

Lord God Almighty Father I have so much to be thankful for, a job and career that I love doing, a family; siblings that watch over each other and help each when they need it; a loving and caring son and daughter-in-law who will soon give me my first grandchild; shelter over my head and food to eat. I have never lacked for anything even in the hard times when I was raising my two sons You made sure we had food to eat and somewhere to lay our head. I PRAISE You for that. As the song says, I raise a HALLELUJAH!!! Thank You for sending You One and Only Son to die for me. Christ thank You for dying for me and my sins so I might have eternal life. Your resurrection was the start of a whole new story. A story I’m happy to be part of. And thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to dwell within me. PRAISING YOU, CHRIST AND THE HOLY SPIRIT this Sunday and everyday. Amen.
Be blessed and PRAISE God, Christ and the Holy Spirit today and always, sisters.

  13. Searching says:

ADRIENNE – praying for the pastor’s wife and family as they grieve the tremendous loss and trust in the Lord for each step in the days to come. Also praying for you as you grieve the loss of your job and the identity you had helping people – and I’m also excited for you to see the next thing the Lord has planned for you! It comes to my mind that your job situation didn’t catch God off guard :)

  17. Michelle Patire says:

Kelly, amen. This is a verse I was meditating on last night.
Your mercy is new every morning.
Your faithfulness is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Those who wait on You renew their strength.
They will walk and not grow weary, run and not faint.
Your love is faithful, even when we are faithless.
You steadfast love endures though generations.
Help us grasp your mercy and walk in it.
    Thank yoiur, Lord.

  22. Kelly (NEO) says:

As we gather to worship today may we remember the word of Jeremiah, “Because of the Lord’s faithful love
    we do not perish,
    for his mercies never end.

    They are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness!

I say, “The Lord is my portion,
therefore I will put my hope in him.”

The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
to the person who seeks him.

It is good to wait quietly
for salvation from the Lord” (Lam. 3:22-26).

ALLY M – praying for God’s peace to fill your mind and heart.

NANCY S – praying the comfort, wisdom, and patience of the Lord to be poured out on you. May He bless you with support of friends and family as you care for your husband.
