Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
This week we will add our final verses, 5 and 6, to our memorization of Paul’s encouragement about the unity that characterizes the body of Christ.
Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope at your calling—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.
—Ephesians 4:1–6

@Tracie G. Remember that you never have to work or do anything on your own. The Holy Spirit is with you to offer you Help, Love, and Guidance. Lean into that power when you are weary. Praise him when you are happy. My prayers are with you and your family.
Amen
♥️

@…(forgot your name…sorry, can’t go back or will lose my comment…but I LOVE that you are writing scripture on the walls and floors before rebuilding, that sounds really neat!)
Love you guys new and old. This “fellowship” builds us and lifts us up to do more, all that we can to remain focused on our calling to share what we can as individuals for Him, our Almighty Powerful and Loving God! Jesus is the ONLY way, the truth and the Life! And we have that power IN US through the Holy Spirit!!
Happy Sunday beautiful sisters! It’s a GORGEOUS day in the mountains. Drove up with my kiddos. Going to enjoy a worship service out in the open air. Thank you Lord for making a way for us to cone.
These are some beautifully and meaning words Paul wrote.
I would like to add to the prayers I requested on Friday. My d-i-l’s mom, she has stage 4 cancer, is in the hospital dying. It is in a way I believe a blessing she has been in a lot of pain for the last 3-5 months. She has been saved. Dani, my d-i-l, is type A person and I’m not sure how this will effect their chance at have a baby.
Also, I went to see my sister yesterday and had a talk with one of my brothers. My sister admitted to me she had had suicidal ideations but since she was saved didn’t want to. We have decided the first thing we need to do is get her stronger and then get her out of the house she’s in because there are too many bad memories. I’m looking for some one to come in and help her for a few hours a day.
Lastly I’m going to be going to camp starting the 15th of this month and we would like to get much of this taken care before that.
Be blessed and remember God, Christ and the Holy Spirit are your strength to get through everything (that’s what I’m telling myself right now).
I loved what Searching, Gwyneth52, Jennifer Loves Jesus posted yesterday and Kelly (NEO) is a sweet ray of sunshine every day! I needed to ponder and pray about the Church the past few weeks. I know we capital C are unified in our love for Jesus but I also believe there are demonic spirits tearing our churches apart and pray on that often.
I pray to walk worthy of the calling. I struggle with the simple “love your neighbors”. I need to work on this. My life had been so busy taking care of Tanner and then my husband had cancer during that time as well. The last year was terribly hard. But now it is time to rise up. To keep my eyes up and bear witness to all God has done for me through these trials. To become the neighbor that is full of God’s love and to show it.
Thank you JENNIFER LOVES JESUS. My heart is overwhelmed with your thinking of me.
Harmony. As our voices and lives sound out the musical notes of life to our Lord in one faith, we are His song. A beautiful composition of high and low notes mixed with joy and lamentation, laughter and tears, with familiar and foreign sounds we haven’t heard. We are a single-voiced witness of many hearts in the one body of Christ. Unified in Jesus yet unique in creation. I pray for the hearts that are grieving (thinking of you @Traci G), let the lamentation flow, you are held by the body of Christ. Never alone, yet unique in your suffering. We hold hope in our one God and Father of all. He is above all, with us through all, and in all (Ephesians 4:1-6). May we live worthy of our calling, listening to the voice of God singing over us. Let us sing the song as He lays the sheet music before us. I hear Him saying, this is the song I will have you sing. May I sing it well, no matter what notes come. If a note is too high, He will help me, if too low He will help me there too. The point is to sing with Him and for Him, in unison with His Word. And may I remember the rests and silence in between the notes are vitally important too. Whether singing or silent, my heart is in tune with my God and Father. Selah. Maranatha. Amen.
We are renovating our sanctuary at church. This morning we are going into that space and write scripture on the floors, walls, etc. before the final renovations take place. I have several I plan to write, but the one I know I will write is Ephesians 4:4-6. I am so thankful for this timely study with SRT. My pastor has been doing a similar series called Church Matters. Our God is in the details!

KELLY (NEO) – love you, sister! ❤️
On this the Lord’s Day, I’m praying the words of Paul for you “that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment, so that you may approve the things that are superior and may be pure and blameless in the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.” Phil 1:9-11
