Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry His Word with us wherever we go.
During this study, we’ll commit Hosea 6:6 to memory. In it, God expresses a desire for His people to seek Him through genuine relationship. To help you memorize this verse, take time every day this week to say it out loud; set an alarm for lunchtime or first thing in the morning as a reminder.
“For I desire faithful love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.”
—Hosea 6:6

Thank you Lord for still wanting us even when we aren’t faithful!
❤️
.
Wasn’t the rain wonderful yesterday?!? God is so wonderful to give us the rain. ❤️
Julia B… Don’t know that you’ll see this, as you posted a couple days ago, and now it is Sunday evening… check out Heidi St. John and (in particular) the “Homeschool Resource Center”. I am not a homeschooler, but I really enjoy her podcasts, and she often mentions the “Homeschool Resource Center” (and talks about the ramifications of the current goings on in our world… and you might want to listen to those issues… she is a resident of WA state).
Praying for peace, remember you can do “ALL things through Christ who strengthens you”. The kids will be happy to see you:)
God cares more about what is going on, on the inside of us more than he cares about our outside behavior.
Apparently my phone is acting funny >.< sorry for the half written posts! Anyway just wanted to say that I just found SRT and am so grateful to have a well designed way to read God’s word every day. I think I’m gonna have my kiddos learn the verse along with me!
I’ve been having such a hard time
Praying for all requests on this rainy morning from my patio. We don’t have many rainy days here in Arizona and rain is one of my favorite sounds as I meditate on Hosea 6:3…Let us press on to know the Lord – He WILL come to us…. Keep fighting the good fight Julia Brown, Whitney Autumn, Karrie, and all moms, homeschool moms, weary moms, divorced moms, soon to be moms. Thank you for all who post such beautiful devotions and reflections: Brooke Parker, Sarajoy, Ariana, Taylor – love what you shared last week. So many here encourage me, teach me and give me hope to help me focus on what is true and I am very grateful. ❤️
My husband and I are in the same situation Nancy. We tried going back after COVID and I don’t think the church changed, just us. Will be praying for you and your husband to find a new church home.
Good morning and Happy Sunday!! If most if you read my comment yesterday, you know that I am able to go back to work tomorrow. Please be praying for that. I’m not sure if they’re aware that I’m still gonna need to use my crutches. We’ll see how that goes. But I’m thankful so thankful for all your prayers. Continue to pray that my ankle will heal completely. And hopefully start running again. Meanwhile and I don’t have time to talk about it right now I know that God is and was protecting me from something, so meantime I’m staying put. I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night so I’m very exhausted and feeling depressed. I’m hoping I can get a good nap in later this afternoon. And get ready for my work week. I can’t wait to see the kiddos. My cast is pink with sparkles, I know the kindergartners are going to love it.
Happy Sunday all! Foster mama thank you for your prayers from yesterday ! I am so touched that you are praying for us! We definitely need it. Things are going well, praise God, but sometimes the anxieties want to return. Bless you Foster mama, and all you SRT sisters.
Since joining this community two months ago, I’ve strengthened my relationship with God. I am thankful for the Word which helps us to know and understand him.
Good morning ladies. I’m so thankful for all of you! Have a blessed Sunday. Nancy Singleton prays as you search for a new church home. ❤️
Than you foster mama and everyone else for your prayers yesterday, I so appreciate it. My family is going thru a very hard time these days and I’m struggle to keep my head above water. Up early here so I can sit in silence and enjoy my reading with a warm cup of coffee before everyone gets up, it is the one thing I look forward to each morning.
Faithful love, not sacrifice. Lord search my heart. Amen
❤️
Good morning, precious SRT friends! I have been on SRT for several years but seldom comment. I do my quiet time very early and there are seldom any comments that early. I recently felt the Lord leading me to go back later in the day to read the comments and prayer requests. I am so glad I did! I am praying for each of you and the special needs that you have! Our awesome God cares for each of you and wants to carry your burdens for you! One scripture that has helped me when I felt like I was under attack is Psalm 94:16-19. I hope it helps you dear friends who have such a great need right now. Love you dear ladies!
Praying for you, Nancy.
Praying for you and your husband, Nancy Singleton, as you look for a new church. May you clearly sense God’s leading.
My husband & I will visit a local church today. We need to find a new church home. It’s been easy not to attend anywhere through Covid, but we both desire fellowship with believers. The church we had been attending is just too progressive for us. Thanks for your prayers that we will find a new church community & opportunities for service.
Good morning ladies. Yesterday’s comments were full of prayer requests. Please know that I stop and pray for each one of you. So many struggles! If we , the redeemed, feel this way, just think what life is like for those who live life without the Lord. My heart aches for this broken world.
Good morning! Happy church day! ⛪
Good morning ladies. Let us all have a blessed Sunday worshiping our Lord!!
FOSTER MAMA, thank you so much for your prayer yesterday, it meant more than you know!!
PRAYING for ALL of you dear ladies!!! May we allow God to come in exactly where He needs to. Amen.
Much love to each of you ❤️
“Let us strive to know the LORD. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land” (Hosea 6:3).
Praying all of you are soaked in your spirits with the pouring out of His presence today.
RHONDA J – praying you find an in-person community quickly. It will be a struggle because your enemy wants you isolated.
WHITNEY AUTUMN – praying the Lord gives you the wisdom and peace you seek.
JULIA BROWN – praying the Lord will guide you regarding what you need to do for your specific health condition. “Fear not” but seek His wisdom. Homeschooling is a calling. Keep God in the center of it as you access the resources given yesterday. If you do not already, bring the Bible into the daily routine. The Illuminate series (Union Gospel Press) has a study for 1st – 12th grade that is just on the Bible. About a 10-15 minute lesson each day. Flexible so you don’t have to do every day. Serious study yet relevant for each age. Details on the Union Gospel Press website
