Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
This week, add the second part of verse 18 to the passage you’re memorizing. Say the whole verse aloud, emphasizing each command to help you commit this verse to memory.
Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
—1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

Loving – Praying – Got my armor on! Unite Church! Roar! ❤️
Churchmouse, thank you for this insight (and reminder) that I need to be conscience oh what my face looks like to others. Even when on the inside I want to burst out. And I don’t want to do that because I need to be careful with my words and actions. This will be a great start for my work week. And for my life here at home with my mom and kids.
Amen Amen Amen…..I’m writing this down Churchmouse. Thank you for sharing these words of wisdom. It’s so easy to read these words but do we apply them and reflect the face of our beloved Savior….
Peace comes from these practices…..praise, prayer, and thanksgiving. I am so thankful I know the peace that come from the Lord.
CHURCHMOUSE – adding my Amen, Sister! to your yesterday’s post. As I read it, I started thinking how often I was hearing/reading “truth” in the media. Even this week, a surprising (to me, anyway) headline caught my eye and I glanced through the article – most of the quotes were congrats on “truth” based on various secular definitions and my only thought was Dear Lord, may they realize their need and seek you.
Rejoicing. Praying. Thanking. Does my face, my words and my actions give evidence of these?
God will always be with us. Jesus walks with us daily. Oh sweet Jesus how I long for your return! Until that day I rest knowing you are on the throne.
Every Pray will be able to have a hope, I think.
I am so joyful to alive because I born in here by Christ, I am thankful of my father, and My relatives, to kind me. If I can something somehow, will be Good to hand away? I believe everything will be done to be better and happy with us. Amen.
