Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
Let’s commit Paul’s words on the value of Scripture to memory. Read these two verses out loud a few times. What part of this passage stands out most to you after spending these last several days opening your Bibles together?
All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
—2 Timothy 3:16–17

Great message ❤️ A good reminder to not just seek those feel good verses.
1 John tells us the word is God. God is still in the life-saving business through His inspiring and powerful word. Amen
Thank you God for allowing me to go on this journey and fall more in love with you everyday so that I may become like you and serve you gracefully
this study is always my go to study whenever I make the steps to get myself out of a spiritual rut. every time I come to it, I learn something new and motivating to keep me going.
Amen, the Bible is kinda like a road map. We still have to drive our car and put in effort to get to where we’re going but the Bible will help lead us along the right paths.
You may have a different capacity for memorizing, but that does not make you any less of a servant than those around you.
I have such a hard time memorizing scripture. Due to last trauma my brains memory doesn’t function to it’s fullest capability. It’s frustrating and breaks my heart. How do I be a good servant and stand in the word if I can’t remember it to refer back to it?
I just love that verse!
One week down, i love the Lord
Gods word equips me to do His Holy work; to teach and encourage others to also be equipped, to fight the enemy in spiritual warfare and have Gods word to back it up, to correct myself when I may not be aligned to His heart. The Lord is continuously guiding us through His word, it is the least we can do to speak it out in Truth and into our own lives ♥️
God’s Word is on purpose for a purpose. It’s meant to guide us to do His will, His perfect plans.
The Word of God truly is the ultimate tool for us. We can turn back to His Word to know Him deeply in order to hear from Him more readily and in turn, we receive so much from it because we walk alongside Him with ease, comfort and confidence because we read His word for His Glory.
Everything we need is in his word
Good way to start the week
My pastor just shared on this yesterday. In the midst of everyone sharing their opinion via social media, it’s nice to have biblical truth.
Over the last few days, it has settled in on me that my need for God and the Word is great. Greater than I was acknowledging.
This study has helped me reflect so much on God’s word, very excited to be part of this community! ❤️
Great reminder to commit scriptures to memory!
I think that God’s Word is so important so that I can practice how to live accordingly to the Bible, I can learn what I am doing wrong and how to learn to do the right things that pleases God. It makes me want to memorize Bible verses even more
❤️
❤️
Loved this study. Such a great way to end with a reminder that Gods word is true and will equip us for almost anything.
A nice way to end this study. I need to be more intentional with memorizing scripture
Amen!!! Such a great take away.
✝️
❤️
I just got my new Bible and before I even opened this devotion, I prayed that I would not take this Bible for granted like I took others for granted❤️
Wonderful takeaway. Thank you Lord!!
What a great way to end this study! It’s so reassuring to know that taking time each day for the lord not only helps better me and our relationship, but also equips me to go out into the world and be a light.
I love that Paul says ALL scripture not part of it, some of it or even most of it but all of it. Even the hard parts are there to teach us. Also love that he said that it is good for training us in righteousness and not useful to tear others down. If we are not wary, the enemy loves nothing more than taking our own weapon, the word, and striking us and those we love down with it. Lord, let us always trust in You and Your word, taking the whole of it, not pieces, and train us in righteousness for Your glory!

All scripture is inspired by God. By learning it, and keeping it, we will be equipped to face anything that comes our way. Whether that be trials, blessings, or correction from God.
Bible=Survival Guide ❣️I’m so proud to be part of the body of Christ!
This was an amazing way to end the series. So grateful for the essence of God in written form
❤️
God inspires scripture and by learning it, holding it in my heart, I will be equipped for trials and blessings.
❤️ This is my prayer also. I’ll say a prayer for you.

Praise be to God

…that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. If I want to be prepared, and be ready to be used by God, His word is what I need to live by.
love this!
I just finished my first plan. I loved it. I am planning to read Mark next.
:)))
Amazing! I loved this plan and I can know say during this plan I have opened my bible…and I’ve LOVED it ❤️
The truth we need is found in scripture…
❤️
All scripture is God breathed, for me this means His very life i carry within me to bring that same life every where I go.
the bible to me is like liquid gold it’s something i can always lean on for whatever i am questioning or whatever i am enjoying life it’s something that i can praise and feel more one with God i can feel like i had a recharge because let’s face it we are human and we can stray away from God when life gets to hard or when life gets too easy and at the end of the day , it all about balance of balancing God and our life’s as well at trusting the process even when we may not agree with it
I like how for me that it’s just title and by author. It made it seem more personal like it was a message from God.
Turn to Godsword for truth
Everything in God’s Word is to help me be complete and equipped to lead others…. And when I’ve got things wrong He will show me or tell me if I’m willing to see/hear—and help me to correct that wrong.
I love your interpretation of these verses, I agree !
❤️
❤️
Your Scripture is so powerful and proclaims the only valid truths. Thank you, Lord, for your gift.
Lord i thank yoy for everything!
This morning, I first finished my thoughts on John 1 that were interrupted by an early rising child the other day. Asking God to make me a good teacher (specifically for my kids but generally as well) as I have been given the authority and have been called to be as a child of God. In the next breath acknowledging that I must study the word to know the truth of what I’m teaching. Today’s verse confirms it “profitable for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness…”
❤️❤️❤️
Amen ❤️
❤
Lord thank you, for preparing me for every good work in Your will. I look forward to the new ways you will work in me this next year ahead. You never cease to amaze me. You’ve blessed me so much.
Praise God that He cares for us so much. His love is like no other. That He gives us all these words to live by, that we may be complete before Him.
❤️
❤️
Amen!
Lord i thank you
❤️
❤️
Thank you Jesus for the blessing of your word!!
“Complete, equipped for EVERY good work” Yes, Lord. May it be done for me according to your word. Amen.
Thank you lord for your word!
I love this outlook on the scripture, and it’s so true!
I remember once being told that God doesn’t call the equipped, he equips the called… ❤️
I often think of these verses in this way –
Instruction – Here is what you should know and this is what you should do
Rebuke – Not like that
Correcting – Like this
Training – Let’s try it again.
Think of your interaction with children. You don’t first rebuke. Instruction comes first. They must be taught the right way. When they veer off the path, we must stop them with both a rebuke and a correction. Rebuke identifies how and where they went wrong. Correcting them reminds them of the original instructions puts them back on the right path. Training is the process where this is repeated.
God’s word does the same for us.
As the world seems more and more crazy lately, reading and relying on His word seems more and more important
Lord thank you for your word!
Praying for healing for you and husband. Praying for the staff taking care of them and their families during such hard time.
so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
♥️
Useful for “training, correction, rebuke”. I need to hear this!
Praying for you and your family.
PamC I’m praying right now. We are with you dear sister ❤️.
Lord your word is life.
That is so awesome! It’s so hard to push past what we feel sometimes, but the Truth of Gods Word is always the lifeline that is always available.
Praying for Pam and her husband Dave. I pray God to send healing to you both. I pray that the doctors nurses and staff that be fully equipped and prepared for anything Covid may bring. Amen
Praying for you and Dave! May God be your comfort and grow you closer to Him during this time.
His word is what makes us better people. We are able to see more food in the world when We apply His word in life
“ALL scripture is inspired by God” I hold on to HIS WORD! It’s my lifeline. I cannot do life without His Word. I go to my God when I need answers. I ask God’s people for help or to pray along with me. Sometimes I need to be rebuked or corrected and that’s OK because it’s for my own good so that I may be complete and equipped to do His will. Sisters please pray as I need guidance (with the least amount of hurt feelings) talking to my daughter.
My prayer is that she sees Mom trying to follow and obey God’s Word and not attacking.
I love that you shared this. Live his reckless grace. Thank you Melissa!
Thank you AnneLyn
Thank you Melanie ❤️
Thank you Eileen ❤️
“Training in righteousness…” I was having a rough night last night. Really sinking into some anxiety and depression. Instead of turning on trash TV as a distraction or pouring a glass of wine, I opened my Bible and looked for the truth. I landed on Paul “learning to be content” in all circumstances. It struck me that it’s something I’ll learn and something I’ll struggle, and maybe even fail with sometimes. But I can learn it. It’s mine to have and work on if I want it. That truth turned my night around. Thank you Jesus for the truth found in your word.
Thank you Megan ❤️
Amen!
SRT Sisters I would ask your prayers please for my husband, Dave. He’s, like so many others, in the hospital…Covid + pneumonia. It just about ripped my heart out to let them load him into an ambulance last night from urgent care for the ride to emergency. I could use some prayer as well. I’m not getting around very well myself. I took a fall Christmas Eve that I’m slow recovering from.
Thank you all.
One of my favorite scriptures
Jesus used to scripture to defeat the devil in the desert. I need to be equipped with scripture to speak truth when the devil comes with his lies.
Love the thought that Gods word breathes life and makes us complete ✨
Bible=life preserver. When someone is complete, they are lacking nothing and are whole. God can satisfy our hearts and minds by reading the word of God. As Christians, the Bible is our weapon against the enemy and tool to build our firm Christian foundation. Our sole purpose is to bring glory to God, which the Bible equips us to do.
Melissa, thank you for sharing your testimony. It blessed me today.
Amen! This is such a great promise and comfort!!
Thank you LORD for giving us Your inspired Word – equipping us with everything we need to glorify & enjoy You forever ❤️
I’ve had so much negative in my life over the past 3 years, and this year I’m letting it all go. God is providing a way to see Him and not the negative all the time through His lovely word! Be gone Satan! I’ve had enough negative already!
The word of God helps us align ourselves with God’s plan for our lives. Thank God for his Word that works mightily in and for and through us!
We are only complete when we are in Christ. We will flounder in this world unless we know Jesus as our Savior. We will be adrift until we secure the anchor which is the Word of God. We will be searching but never finding unless we have the Light of the world.
Let us determine that 2021 will find us earnestly praying for salvation for all our family and friends who yet remain incomplete. May they come to wholeness and peace in the saving knowledge of Jesus.
❤️
Traci, Praying for your son, Tanner.
We aren’t complete without the training and correcting that comes from God’s word. How beautiful!
“All scripture is inspired by God…’. So many do not believe that. It’s straight from our amazing Heavenly Father. I struggle to wrap my mind around the fact that He loves us so much that He has never stopped wanting us to hear Him, to know Him. Wow! Please pray for my husband and me as we seek God on how to discipline in love and patience our often defiant child.
I am praying for humbleness during this process so that I can listen, trust, and share God’s words.
I’m feeling blessed as I begin this new year. Growing up, my family always attended church as a family, but beyond Sunday, there was never a continuation of learning God’s word. Throughout adulthood, I would frequently open my bible looking for a starting place but always closed it feeling lost. Now, with the guidance & support of SRT, I have what I need!
✨Equipped for every good work!
ALL Scripture is breathed into life by God and that believers are made equipped for every good work by them. What a good way to begin 2021, thank you, SRT.
Complete and equipped for every good work! God always has a purpose! We always benefit from His work in our hearts and minds through His Word!
Thanking God for all the SRT Sisters – it’s nice reading Scripture in a community
Scripture is breathed out by God, so I can breathe it in. It refreshes me-gives me recovery of breath. It is empowering, instructional, correcting, strengthening, directional, deepening, equipping. Makes me ready for EVERY good work. It COMPLETES me.
Thank you SRT team for leading us to be women in the Word of God every day!
Thank you, ladies, for this Scripture today! So truth-filled from God’s beautiful heart.❤️❤️❤️
I am praying for your son Tanner, Traci, for God’s wisdom and discernment to show you the way to go with Tanner and treatment. To God be the Glory!
May we use Your Word to be ready for our assignment!
Amen!
❤️
Thank you, Father, for your Word! when life is hard, and uncertain, when it feels like hope is tough to cling to and truth is difficult to find, we can rest in YOUR constanr truth, God.
Jos byHisgrace praying for you. He overcomes fear. I know this. When you feel it use scripture to give you His peace. For me I would say Jesus you never leave me or forsake me. Your grace is sufficient Lord. Your power is made perfect in my weakness. And the Our Father. Any of these gave me strength and always reminded me that fear is a liar. Love that song. Hugs Sisters, our God never fails. His love endures forever!
Amen
Just remember, God uses everything we go through to lead us to Him. Nothing wasted. I was born and raised in Sunday School and church and I still strayed and lived a very different life than I do today.
All my life answer, what I’m struggling at ( at this time is FEAR, and how to live free from fear), is in His Word. Only His Word can shape and change me, to be a mature woman of God, equipped for EVERY good work. No where else to look or cling. Only God and His Word.
This beautiful and life inspiring truth right here, reminded me of a line in the film Jerry Maguire, when he realised she is the one and goes to find and tell her..
“YOU COMPLETE ME” Some pretty special words right there..in line with I love you I think.. don’t you?
But God..
Dear Amazing, Wonderful Faithful, Ever Loving God, His Word.. my hope secures, in the correcting, the teaching, yes, even in the rebuking, because without them, life is just life, but with them.. He, HE, completes me… HE COMPLETES ME!❤
And just as I thought I was to end with an Amen, I heard God say,
“You have Me at Hello, each morning, each time you call on Me, each time you open your Bible, each time you are connecting with Me..You have Me”
Thank you God, for your goodness, your mercy, your grace.. thank you for your Word that is my source and resource, Thank you Lord God that your Word completes me.. thank you!
Thank you..❤
Happy Sunday ya’ll. Happy Sunday, wrapped in love. ❤
Thank you for this Bible study!
Brianna, I was the same. I can’t say I’m 100% where I was as a child, but I’m growing closer to
Him each day because of my experiences. Let Him draw you near.
Lifting him up❤️ I grew up in the church but definitely ran astray as a teen. Now I am in college and trying to rebuild my faith
